Krista, who was standing with Cedric and Tabitha, saw what
was happening and felt even worse.
“Beth…”
Before Terrence could say anything, Kyson took his hand away
and said, “I already brought the person you asked for. Let’s talk
about the rest later.”
He said now, Bethany wouldn’t want to listen either.
Terrence thought she would come over and they’d get a chance
to talk. But it looked like she really didn’t want to talk to him at ~
all. She just came so Kyson wouldn’t be put in a tough spot.

In the end, Terrence slowly let go of Bethany’s hand.
She just got in the car without a bit of hesitation. Terrence felt
like all the blood in his body was about to freeze.
Kyson’s car slowly drove in and out, and he felt like Bethany
was slowly slipping out of his world.
Until the car was completely out of Terrence’s sight, he turned
his wheelchair around, went into the villa, returned to his room,
and closed the door.
Tabitha sighed helplessly. She figured she probably couldn’t get anything out of Terrence if she asked him about it now.
Tabitha looked at Krista and said, “You went to Rivermond for a
while, do you know how things were there?”
“I didn’t really know the details, but it was obvious Terrence
cared about her a lot. I also didn’t know what was going on with
her, insisting on a divorce.”
“I knew.”
Tabitha pulled Cedric out for a walk. After they walked a bit
away from the Gilbert’s villa, Tabitha said, “Old man, call
Grandpa Terrence. Maybe Grandpa Terrence knows about it.”
“Yeah, I came to ask Randy.””
Cedric called Randy.
After Randy picked up, he asked, “Cedric, did you need
something?”
“I saw my granddaughter–in–law today, she seemed pretty
gentle and well–behaved, I was quite satisfied, but she said she wanted to divorce Terrence, do you know why?”
Randy was sending someone to look for Bethany.
He listened to Evangeline’s call and also thought Terrence went
to find Krista, so he told Cedric and Tabitha the info Bethany
sent him.
“I couldn’t find her anywhere, turns out she went abroad, so it’s
up to you guys, try to talk to her, and make sure she doesn’t go
to court to divorce Terrence.”
Randy was actually planning to say yes to Bethany and find a
way to get Terrence to divorce Bethany, but then Terrence got.
hurt and went to see Krista. If he divorced Bethany, he’d
definitely get tangled up with Krista again.
It was better not to leave for now.
But what Randy said shocked Cedric. Terrence actually did that
to Bethany, no wonder Bethany wanted a divorce.
“Okay, I got it, I’ll try.”
Cedric closed his phone, and Tabitha quickly asked him what
was going on.

probably a lot of things added up. No woman would ask for a divorce just over one thing.”
