Bethany didn’t mean to take the gift, Evangeline couldn’t help

a happy family of three. Terrence isn’t some jerk or a cheater,
your son is smart and hardworking. For a woman, having the
life you have now is already the best it gets. So what are you still
being stubborn about? Isn’t it tiring to keep working like this?”
Bethany really didn’t want to say a single word.
In the eyes of the McConnell family, she was a mute, a dodder
vine that could only survive by clinging to Terrence.
None of them respected her ideas, and none of them wanted to
understand her worth.
When she loved Terrence, she could give up all her talents for
Terrence and stay at home to be a good wife and mother.
She didn’t love anymore, she could pick up her skills again and
