thought about what could’ve happened?” After saying that,
Evangeline suddenly snapped back, “You said there’s nothing
between you and her, so why did you pin her down that night
and almost kiss her? Terrence, are you really going to lie to your
own sister?”
“I was drunk, thought it was Beth.”
“Don’t try to fool me, you couldn’t even tell your own wife

divorce, stay away from her, people who can’t talk well are

Terrence knew Evangeline didn’t like Krista, but it was in the

Terrence just gave the cooperation agreement to Kyson.

there’s something fishy about this cooperation agreement?”
“The station was built by you, so giving you a bit more bonus
would be a scam?”
Kyson chuckled, “We’re all business people, can’t you see
through it? There’s no free lunch in this world. Your patents,
your AI, your later investment and operations, and then you
want me to take eighty percent of the shares. Isn’t that just

say it.”
“You weren’t wrong, you stabbed well, you actually went a bit
easy with that stab, honestly you could’ve stabbed twice.”
Terrence took a cigarette from the pack, lit it, and started
smoking.
Kyson looked at him weirdly, “Did you mess up your brain in
that car accident?”
“Don’t talk nonsense, I was very clear–headed.”
Kyson closed the cooperation agreement and tossed it in front
of Terrence, “Anyway, I feel like there’s something fishy. If you
don’t make it clear, I’d rather give you the site for free than sign
this agreement.”
Terrence blew smoke rings and looked at Kyson.
That was really sharp.
If he knew Bethany was Daphne, there would definitely be big
trouble.
“You just didn’t trust me that much?”

Kyson sneered, “Who are you? You’re Terrence? Yeah right, like
I’d believe that. No way I’m falling for this.”
Terrence sat up straight, his long fingers flicked the ash off his
cigarette. “You’re overthinking it. If you’re worried, you can
take full charge of the project. I’ll provide the tech guys, and I’ll
pay for everything.”
Kyson glanced at him and smiled even more. “The hole just gets
deeper and deeper. I’m telling you, only greedy people fall for
this. I’m not that kind of greedy person. I don’t want this
project.”
Kyson planned to give the power station he built to Terrence for
free from the very beginning.
So even though he knew giving up this partnership deal would
mean losing a lot of profit, Kyson Ye didn’t feel like he was
losing out.
It was just normal logic and years of business sense, and he felt
something was fishy.
