Terrence called Lucian right away.
“Did you contact me on Christmas Eve because you wanted to
ask me out for drinks?”
“Delete your comment under Kyson’s Instagram.”
You really talked fast.
“How come you weren’t happy when I commented on your
wife? At that moment, I guess even Kyson saw it. What’s the
point of deleting it?”
“Just delete it when I tell you to, stop talking”
Lucian went back to the WhatsApp page to delete the comment
and found that Kyson had already replied to the comment.
“Don’t say it, it really was kind of similar, it really was fate!”
He told Terrence.
Terrence hung up the phone.
It was good Kyson didn’t think about that.

This Lucian really caused a lot of trouble. He hadn’t made any progress with Bethany yet, and if Kyson accidentally found out one day, his chances with Bethany would be even smaller.

“How was the wedding prep going?”

Darren.

Bethany was holding the little girl, sitting in the back seat, and
saw Terrence’s name popping up on Kyson’s car screen.
Kyson picked up.

“Did you help Beth check on Darren? Do you know why she
was looking for Darren?”
Bethany frowned a little, and Terrence seemed really interested
in this.
She couldn’t let him know.
Kyson replied, “Stop calling me and asking. I won’t tell you.”
Kyson hung up the phone.
Then Kyson said to Bethany, “Beth, don’t worry, I won’t tell him
about this.”
“But, it might be a bit hard to get justice for my grandma.
Terrence showed me Darren’s info today. I didn’t know when
Darren became one of Rothya people, and his business got really
big. I guess all those shady things he did before have been
covered up somehow.”

Bethany thought so too, but she knew it would definitely be a

Besides, Darren was Krista’s real dad, and with how much
Terrence cared about Krista, he’d probably still try to protect

The car drove into Vespera Villa.
Shyla just woke up.
Terrence heard the car and came out. He saw Bethany get out
holding Shyla, and Kyson got out too, just about to take Shyla
from Bethany.
But Shyla put her arms around Bethany’s neck and said,
“Auntie, I don’t want to go back, I want to stay with Bethany.”
Bethany said, “Kyson, just let her sleep at my place tonight.”
“She didn’t have any clothes or anything.”

wear them, you could bring her clothes over tomorrow.”

Kyson told Shyla again, “You need to listen to Bethany here,
okay?”

The two turned around and saw Terrence standing at the door.
Kyson gave Terrence a quick look and got in the car.
Bethany came in holding Shyla. Shyla recognized Terrence and
sweetly called out, “Uncle Terrence.”
