“Okay, then I waited for your message.”
At this point, Eliza called them for breakfast.
Terrence got up and told Kyson to eat here too.
Bethany said, “Kyson, the breakfast at Felicity Bakery was
really good. Let me treat you to breakfast at Felicity Bakery.”
“Sure, their croissants were pretty good, it’s an old brand. I kind
of craved them too. Let’s go.”
Terrence’s face darkened, “I sent someone to buy croissants this
morning. If you go now, you’ll probably have to wait in line for
an hour. We happen to have some at home. Are you sure you
want to wait in line?”
Kyson looked at Bethany, “You’re not in a hurry, right? If you’re
not, should we go line up?”
Bethany smiled and said, “No rush, waiting in line is a nice.
quality. Go ahead and line up.“”
Terrence’s face was almost as dark as ink.

Before Bethany left, she turned to Eliza and said, “Eliza, there
are a lot of apples in my bedroom. Later, you should divide those
apples equally among the servants in the villa.”
After she finished talking, Bethany went out with Kyson.
Eliza didn’t even dare look at Terrence. Yesterday, when
Terrence had Michael bring over some apples, she went in to
help too.
It looked like Mrs. McConnell just ignored Mr. McConnell’s
feelings.
Terrence followed into the master bedroom and saw that the
two bags on the Christmas tree had been taken down. There
was an empty bag on the dresser, and the necklace was still in
the other bag.
She saw it, but she didn’t take it out.
The last bag was still hanging on the Christmas tree, and she
didn’t even want to look at it.
Terrence took out his phone and called Evangeline.
“What for?”
“Today was Christmas, you took Emery to the amusement park,

Bethany took the amusement park card, so she was definitely
taking Shyla to the amusement park today.
“Okay, see you in a bit.”
Terrence hung up the phone, and Eliza said, “Mr. McConnell, go
have breakfast. I’ll clean up here.”

Kyson drove out of the villa area. He said, “Beth, I just lied to
Terrence. I already had breakfast. If you want a croissant from
Felicity Bakery, I’ll take you and Shyla there.”
She didn’t want to eat a croissant.
She used to line up to buy croissants, that was because she was
at the McConnell’s villa, and she heard Terrence liked croissants
from Felicity Bakery, so she went to line up and buy them.

“Just got a pretty goddaughter, took her with me.”
