about it? I think it’s just you McConnell family spoiling him too
much, not teaching him. Our Daphie couldn’t talk before,

Evangeline felt terrible and explained, “Jameson, you really
misunderstood me. None of our family supported Terrence and
Krista.”
“Not only did you not treat our Daphie well, you didn’t even
stand up for her and protect your marriage together. You really
have the nerve to say that.” Jameson was always kind and
gentle, but now he looked stern. “I think you all just disliked that
our Daphie couldn’t talk before, and since she’s an orphan, you
bullied her.”

Even though Emery had Krista pretend to be his mom in public,

does my mom not want me anymore? She won’t take care of
me? She won’t see me again?”
Emery looked so pitiful, how could Evangeline bear it? She said.
to Jameson again, “Is Beth home? We came over today just to
see her.”
Evangeline really wanted Bethany to go see Terrence.
“Not here, went abroad to see her mom.”
