Jemama walked back to retrieve her wine glass, stepping up to Julas. She stood there, quietly taking in the man who had been by her side through her youth, into marriage–the same man now standing before her in this disgraceful scene.
Lifting her glass of red wine, she tipped it over his head. The entire room empted in chaos.
Julius face turned ashen as he grabbed her wrist fightly—the one sull raised from throwing the wine. His grip was harsh, reopening the wound on his own wrist, mirroring the countless times he had shattered her heart. “Are you only satisfied when things come to this?” he asked.
Anger and sorrow burned in her bloodshot eyes. “Let’s get a divorce,” she said.
Wrenching her hand free with all her strength, she hurled the empty glass at Nadine’s feet. “Spend the rest of your life with
Julnas was shaken by her fury. He was about to speak when he suddenly noticed the red stain in his palm. Spreading his hand open, he realized it was covered in blood.
Panic surged through him. His gaze snapped to Jemima’s wrist, where a deep red ribbon had formed a wet patch where Blood was trickklig down, winding from her palms, each drop splattering onto the carpet
The entire room was on
was on edge.
The Goodwin family had planned to take Nadine away, but just as the hall fell into a tense silence, with all eyes locked on Jemima and Julius, Nadine suddenly stepped forward and shoved Jemima to the ground.
“You worthless bich! Didn’t all those men from last night drain you dry? You should ve just died“”
Jemima hit the floor hard, Julius was still reeling from the shock of her demand for a divorce, and Nadine’s words struck him Like a bolt of lightning
“Julius she’s not pure anymore.” Nadine sneered. “Last night, she was passed around by eight men–one of them has AIDS She’s tainted, ruined, nothing but damaged goods! Do you still want her?”
The jealousy and resentment twisting Nadine’s face had blinded her to the weight of her own words. She wasn’t thinking about how she was essentially confessing to a crime–one that could put her behind bars. She only wanted to make Julius despar Jemima.
The guests in the hall were stunned.
Eight men in one night Moreover, one of them had AIDS! Is it true? But wait how does Nadine know all this so clearly
Amanda’s face turned ghostly pale, her body swaying slightly. It was as if she had realized something.
By then, Jemima had already picked herself up from the floor. She looked at Nadine as if she were nothing more than filth. “I didn’t even have to say a word, yet here you are exposing yourself. You’re not just stupid–you’re downright vile.”
She turned her gaze to Amanda, “Is this the perfect daughter–in–law you’re so satisfied with? The one who conspires with you. commits crimes with you, and will probably end up m prison right beside you?”
Amanda’s throat felt stuffed. She couldn’t utter a single word.
Julius’s expression was dark and terrifying. The Goodwin family looked uneasy.
The guests started piecing things together.
Could it be that Nadine and Amanda set Jemima up? That explains why Jemima’s making such a scene.
Her wrist was injured–it was clear she had suffered violence
No matter how promiscuous a woman was rumored to be, no one would willingly throw themselves into a situation with right men, let alone with one sick man in the mix. Even if she had a death wish, she wouldn’t have chosen that path.
If this was Nadine and Amanda’s doing, it was beyond cruel.

“Why are you all looking at me?!” Nadine screeched. “Don’t listen to her nonsense! She’s the one putting on an act, not me! She’s got AIDS–you all better stay away from her before you get infected”
Before she could say another word, Julius grabbed her by the throat. He pulled her close, his eyes burning with fury. “What did you do to her?” His voice was rough, shaking with rage. “What the hell did you do to her?”
Nadine’s breath caught in her throat. She clawed at his hands, struggling against his grip. It wasn’t just anger–Julius looked like he was ready to kill her.
The two eldest Goodsein brothers sprang into action, rushing over to pry Julia’s hands off Nadine, shielding her behind
“Julus, calm down” Quinlan stepped in “She might just be talking nonsense
Ivana Goodwin, the third daughter of the Goodwin family, spoke up as well. “Even if it’s true, you can’t just accuse Nadie without proof? What if Jemima just couldn’t stand the loneliness, got caught fooling around, and now she’s using this whole situation to frame Nache before the truth catches up to her?”
Jemima almost laughed at that. But she didn’t waste her breath arguing with Ivana. She knew some people were still putting Jon a show.
Sure enough. Nadine immediately switched tactics, playing the victim.
