Chapter 60 Julius Is Mine.
Over in Yhuwell, upon seeing Jemima’s social media update–forwarded by Sadie–Nadine flew into a rage.

Jemima had always been able to see Nadine’s posts. Through mutual friends, Nadine had intentionally flaunted her affair with Julius, making sure Jemima saw every detail.
Now, Jemima was using the same tactic.
But this time, the tables had turned.
Jemima had deliberately not blocked certain people–specifically, the girlfriends of Julius‘ close friends, and one other person
-Sadie.
The last time Sadie had called her to the club, Jemima had seen Julius there with Nadine and his friends. She knew Nadine had sent Sadie to humiliate her.
Later, she learned Sadie’s husband was trying to curry favor with the Goodwin family. Naturally, Sadie had become Nadine’s lapdog-
Now, that lapdog would surely report everything back to its master.
“I won’t lose to that pathetic Jemima! Julius is mine!” Nadine trashed the room, throwing anything within reach.
Since her arrest, her family had confined her at home, forbidding her from leaving. She kept calling Julius. He never picked up. So, she snuck out and went to the Stahl residence–only to be thrown out by Amanda.
Then, Amelia informed her that Julius had gone to find Jemima, trying to win her back. From that moment on, Nadine lost control. No amount of reasoning or scolding from the Goodwin family could make her let go of Julius.
At home, she alternated between screaming, crying, and threatening suicide.
The Goodwins, terrified, didn’t dare push her too hard.
“Ms. Goodwin,” Sadie soothed, “Jemima is just putting on a show. Think about it–you’ve been the one by Mr. Stahl’s side for the past six months. If he really loved her, why would he have ignored her all this time?”
On the floor, a young maid knelt in tears, blood dripping from her hands as she picked up the shattered porcelain.
Nadine had taken her fury out on her, mercilessly grinding her foot into the girl’s hand amidst the broken shards.
Sadie swallowed hard then shot the maid a look, urging her to leave.
The girl scrambled to her feet and fled.
Sitting on the bed, Nadine’s face was clouded with darkness. His voice trembled as he whispered, “If he loves me… then why did he go back to her?”
“Ms. Goodwin, you’re still young, so you might not fully grasp how a man’s heart works. A man may not love or care for his wife, but that doesn’t mean he wants a divorce. Besides, Jemima was the one who asked for it first. How could a proud man like Mr. Stahl accept that his wife left him? That’s why he went after her.”
“So, you’re saying he only chased after Jemima because she was the one who wanted the divorce?”
“Exactly. In Mr. Stahl’s eyes, a woman like her should’ve been the one cast aside, discarded like an unwanted wife. If there was going to be a breakup, it should’ve been on his terms, not hers.”
“You’re absolutely right! That’s exactly how Julius thinks! But now, all he cares about is Jemima. He’s not even answering my calls. What should I do?” Nadine clutched Sadie’s hand like she was her last lifeline.
Sadie smiled slightly. “Ms. Goodwin, I found out that their plane will be landing at the airport at two in the afternoon.”
It was one fifty–three in the afternoon.
The plane touched down at the airport.
As they stepped off the aircraft. lemima noticed a Bentley parked up ahead. She turned to Scott with a smile. “You go on

Scott glanced at her with those cold, pale eyes, said nothing, and simply walked away.

Zander gave her a casual nod. Then he hurried to catch up, holding the door open for Scott before slipping into the front passenger seat himself.
From the driver’s seat, Louis checked the rearview mirror, watching the two figures outside. He frowned slightly. “Why is Ms. Willis
a wheelchair? Did her ex–husband hurt her? Would it be dangerous to leave her here?”
Zander chuckled. “Mr. Callen, you’re overthinking it. Her injury has nothing to do with her ex–husband… Actually, they’re not even divorced yet, so technically, he’s not her ex. And judging by how things are looking, there’s a chance they might end up back together, don’t you think?”
“Wait, getting back together?”
“She told us to go on ahead, said we didn’t have to wait for her. What she really meant was that she wanted to go home with Julius. They’re leaving together. That’s basically the start of a reconciliation, right?”
“But her posts on social media made me feel bad for her.”
Social media?”
Louis pulled out his phone and showed Zander something.
Just as the two of them leaned in to look at the screen, a cold, deep voice rang out from the back seat. “Drive.”
The air inside the car turned frigid in an instant.
