Yvonne stared at Lorenzo in disbelief. She had thought he was cold. They’d just met and now he should flirt with her. Clearly, she’d underestimated

“Fine, if you’re so eager, I’ll go fill up the tub now. Yvonne noticed the smirk on Lorenzo’s face right away. She could tell he was messing with her. Feeling a bit peeved, she decided it was time to give him a taste of his own medicine.
As she got up from his hug, she turned and gave Lorenzo a playful wink.
His hands tightened on the sheets. No woman had ever made his heart race like this before.

The icy chill helped clear his head, dousing the fire that had been burning inside him. No woman had ever made him lose control like this. Never Yonne stepped out of the shower, feeling a dull ache in her lower belly. Too exhausted to think about it, she collapsed onto the bed and drifted in an uneasy sleep.
When Lorenzo returned, he found Yvonne curled up like a shrimp, her hands clutching her stomach.
He slipped into bed and pulled her close, his hand resting on her stomach, the warmth seeping through her this nightshirt.
