Fuck! I totally missed that.
Quickly taking his large calloused hand in my mine and shaking it. The moment our hands touched, I swear I could’ve felt a zap, but it was like a nanosecond. I probably had imagined it. Shaking hands with the other prince, I felt the same zap.
What the hell?
Quickly shaking and letting go, I backed up a few steps and curtsied. Royal etiquette was taught to us in our ethics and etiquette class back home. Thank the goddess, I paid attention. I didn’t need to go mess up in front of the twins who were to be my trainers from tomorrow
onwards.
“Please, no need. We aren’t here on official duties. We’re your trainers, so you do not need any royal protocol. Treat us like you would treat any of your teachers.” I heard one of the princes say.
Before I could say anything, I heard the other prince speak up.
“That also means eye contact,” he said.
Yeah, hell no, eye contact meant my pussy gushing like a broken fire hydrant. I didn’t need my new friend smelling me getting wet for her brothers and my fiance as well. Seeing my stubborn stance, I felt Jax nudge me the same time Alana did. I couldn’t help but scowl at them. both. I knew both of them were telling me to raise my eyes, but they didn’t have the same predicament as I did, but also ignoring a prince’s order was a whole level of disrespect on its own. Internally sighing, I looked up and locked eyes with the twins, trying my best to think of anything but those beautiful sharp jawlines, the little stubbles that were

growing on their chins and those beautiful ocean blue eyes.
Ugh! Knock out of it, Lyla.
I gave myself an internal shake. I smiled at the twins and nodded. I didn’t have the ability to talk right now. They both smiled at me or was that a smirk? But before I could tell the difference, they both had their stoic faces up and turned to Jax. However, the same warm greeting they had given me with their calm features was all gone. Now stood in front of Jax were the alpha princes, tall, back straight, eyes as cold as ice. I saw Jax still, but composed himself immediately even though the twins had told me to treat them as teachers. That didn’t mean that implied to Jax; I saw him bow to the princes with his eyes downcast and neck slightly bared to them.
“Alpha. A pleasure to meet you. If my memory doesn’t serve me wrong, your Alpha Jax of the Bluemoon pack on earth.” I heard one of the prince’s say
“Yes, your highness. It’s a pleasure to be an acquaintance.” Jax replied, now with head held high but neck slightly bared.
“You’re a long way from home, alpha. Any special occasion?” I heard the other prince say. The hint of anger or was it annoyance, could be heard in his tone.
What was that about?
I saw Jax flinch slightly from the tone, but he straightened his back and looked towards me, smiling. He pulled me towards him, wrapping an arm around my waist. Even though I had all these lovey–dovey feelings. for Jax not even five minutes ago, his touching me didn’t feel right. I didn’t want him touching me in front of princes. I shook my head. What was I thinking? He was my fiance; we were to mate in a month. on my birthday! What the hell is wrong with my head? I broke out of my thoughts when I heard Jax say.
“Me and Lyla’s brother, Alpha Lars of the Bloodmoon pack, have come to drop my fiance off at the academy. The Dean insisted we stayed for the party.” Jax said, smiling at me.
I feebly smiled back.
“Fiance!” I heard the twins say in unison, their voices sizzling in anger.
I looked at them, confused; what was wrong with them? Before they could say anything, Alana interrupted.
“Lyla, you never told me you had a mate.” She said. She looked confused for some reason.
I blushed!
I didn’t want to say we were chosen mates. I knew it was common for wolves to choose their mates when they couldn’t find their fated mates. But that wasn’t my case. Before Jax or I could get a word out, one of
tav the princes cut us off.
“Alpha, aren’t you already mated? I remember sending a representative to Bluemoon for your coronation, at the time, your Luna was crowned. with you.” The prince gritted out.
