After another hour of talking to the other professors, Lyla’s brothers, Lars and the triplets, and her so–called fiancée, Jax, were getting ready to leave. The party was dying down as well, kids slowly leaving the hall to probably sleep or continue the party some place else with added extra fun that couldnt be done here. I saw Jax and her brother’s head towards my baby, probably to say their goodbyes, even though everything in me was pushing me to go comfort her because I knew she would be upset, but I held myself back. I wanted to give my baby some privacy with her family. However, I wasn’t planning on doing the same when it came to that Jax guy, so Cameron and I kept a close eye on the figures in the doorway of the party hall. However, the moment her brothers went ahead and Jax went to her, we were held back by the fucking Dean. It took everything in me to control my wolf from ripping the guy’s head off since he was keeping us busy, and the thought of my baby alone with Jax didn’t sit well with me. Brushing him off quickly, Cameron and I found my baby in the hallway, her aura emitting nothing but sadness and confusion, which was weird, but I brushed it off.
Insisting we drop her off at her dorm because, with how she was dressed like a sexy little vixen, I didn’t need any horny male wolves. trying to do something that would end with their eyeballs between
mine and Cameron’s claws, which would lead to us ever hearing the end of it from dad. After we had reached her dorm, Cameron and I kissed her cheeks, leaving the little firecracker completely baffled. Even though all I wanted to do was dive for those juicy nude–painted lips, sucking the life out of them and only letting go when she was breathless, I held myself back. Not wanting to stay back and give our firecracker a chance to mouth off at us again like earlier, we walked away but stayed hidden to ensure she went in and didn’t go anywhere else. After a few minutes, she headed in, and we sighed a sigh of relief. Seeing her in that little dress was hard enough. We didn’t need other male wolves gawking and fantasying about her.
“I can’t believe it, Sam; we found her, we finally fucking found her.” Said Cameron as we walked back to our VIP suite.
Looking at my brother, I could already tell he was head over heels for our little firecracker, fuck, if I wasn’t as well. She was perfect! But we needed to tread carefully in the situation. We couldn’t break a potential promised mating. It would cause havoc in the palace, and the council would lose their shit, not to mention the verbal attacks that would come in regardless if she was our mate or not. She and Jax needed to back out of it, and hell, if Cameron and I were gonna still ideal and do nothing to help our cause. Plus, from the looks of it, Lylą and Alana had become good friends and were dorm mates, which gave us the perfect opportunity to visit her whenever, making our baby sister an excuse, which would probably get us annoying banter from her, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
