Chapter 2
When I divorced Elliott, I was already three months pregnant.
He didn’t know about this matter.
Even if he found out, he would still doubt that the child in my belly was someone else’s seed.
We ended up divorcing because he suspected me of having an affair.
It is all thanks to his lover that our relationship was instigated with just a few words.
But since we have already divorced and haven’t been in contact for five years, why is he suddenly coming to find me now?

Alisha was scared and started crying, but she didn’t dare to make a sound. She pouted her mouth, and tears rolled down her cheeks in big drops.
I floated over to wipe her tears, but time and time again, I missed her.
“Alisha, don’t be afraid, Mom is here.”
She couldn’t hear my voice either, crying with great grievance yet being extremely cautious.
It was not until Amelie ran over and hugged her that she sobbed and made a sound, saying, “Auntie, I didn’t lie, Mom really died, why doesn’t this man believe me?”
Amelie opened her mouth but couldn’t say anything. She cried even harder than Alisha.
Elliott frowned and stared at the two of them for a while, probably annoyed by their crying, and then
he turned around and walked away.
I was so curious about why Elliott suddenly came to find me, so I followed him all the way back.
He still lived in our old house, and everything inside the house remained unchanged.
Even my photos were still placed on the bedside table.
He sat on the ground and muttered to my photo, “Why are you so heartless? You disappeared just like that, for a whole five years. You changed your phone number and moved houses. Do you hate

How could one not hate?
I spent ten years accompanying Elliott to start from scratch.
Thinking that I had finally turned the corner and things would get better, he unexpectedly pushed
me into hell.
Before Alisha, we had another child.
Two months later, we had a big fight because he wanted to accompany his crush on her birthday.
He accidentally pushed me, and I fell to the ground, and the child was gone..
At that time, I was alone in the hospital, and he accompanied the moonlight to sing a birthday song and cut the cake. The Moonlight also sent me the photos.
The chilling feeling in that moment, the piercing hatred, I still remember it vividly five years after my death.
I hated him so much that I never let him know about Alisha’s existence until I died.
Luckily, Alisha looked like me, so when Elliott saw her, he thought that she was the result of me having a child with someone else.
f he found out that Alisha was his daughter, he would definitely try his best to take Alisha away.
I was feeling fortunate when I heard Elliott’s phone ring.
It was his childhood friend who called, asking about his situation.
Elliott smirked and chuckled self–deprecatingly, “She had already been with someone else, and
even had children.”
My childhood friend was shocked, “How could… Eileen loves you so much. How old is the child?”
“She looked about five or six years old.”
His friend, “Did you ask whose child it is? What if it’s yours?”
Elliott was stunned.
And I was in a panic, tumbling up and down, spinning left and right in the air.
Isn’t it said that birds of a feather flock together and people tend to group together?
Why would Elliott, such a stupid person, have a best friend who reacts so quickly?
I wanted to go back immediately and asked Amelie to take Alisha away right away!
