Chapter 71
Giselle only answered the call after waiting for a short while more. “Mr. Fordham, why’d you call so late at
night?” she asked.
After hearing her cold voice come through the receiver, Chester felt his racing heart calm down. He swallowed hard, and his
Adam’s apple bobbed.
His voice sounded deep and magnetic as he asked, “Are you still mad?”
His words left Giselle feeling stunned. A look of surprise appeared in her eyes, and her hand that held the phone slowly clenched,
and veins appeared underneath her skin.
Did Chester purposely come to explain things to her because he knew she was mad about what he said?
Giselle replied slowly, “I’m not mad.”
Anyway, she and Chester could only be considered friends at the most. Plus, she knew she was quite sensitive as a person. Chester
didn’t need to apologize to her deliberately.
Even when she was with Jonathan, her sensitive behavior was never fully reassured.
Chester’s behavior caused Giselle to feel an unfamiliar emotion, one that she had never experienced before. It felt heavy, yet it
wasn’t an unpleasant feeling.
“I apologize. Today was my fault. I will pay attention to what I say next time,” Chester apologized once more.
Even through the phone, Giselle could feel his sincerity.
The night was quiet, and not a single sound could be heard. After a moment of silence, Chester whispered, “Ms. Stone, don’t
question yourself. In my eyes, no one can compare to you.”
Giselle felt her heart thump strongly in her chest. What he said lingered in Giselle’s ears, and she could see her blushing and
surprised face reflected on the window panes.
She took a moment to compose her sudden panic and said, “Mr. Fordham, stop joking with me.‘”
Chester had anticipated that Giselle would react this way. He was in no rush to explain himself, and the sound of his low laughter swept through Giselle’s pounding heart.
Then, he said, “You told me before that you’d help me chase after someone. Does the offer still stand?”
Giselle couldn’t sleep. After tossing and turning for the entire night, she woke up the next day with dark circles under her eyes.
Her mind was still thinking about what Chester said on the phone yesterday.
“In my eyes, no one can compare to you… You told me before that you’d help me chase after someone. Does the offer still stand?”

Giselle couldn’t figure out what Chester meant by his words. She felt frustrated for the first time as a seasoned relationship
counselor.
When Giselle came back from washing up, she received a barrage of phone calls from Emma. “Gigi! You’ve go
gone
viral!”
Giselle was confused. She clicked on the Twitter link Emma sent, which contained a notice released by the Seaworth City Police
Station that morning.
She skimmed through the front parts and focused on the lines that mentioned her. The notice didn’t reveal her real name or appearance, and it only mentioned that she was a relationship advice livestreamer.
The sleuthing internet users used this clue and found Giselle’s account. They also found the scandal involving Charlotte. After
they compared the two, they cursed at Charlotte.
“Is this mistress still continuing to be a relationship advice livestreamer? What if we end up surrounded by mistresses because of
this?”
“This is freaking hilarious. She’s even teaching others to get pregnant before marriage. Just wait. Sooner or later, parents will
come knocking on her door. She’ll be lucky if she doesn’t end up getting beaten to death.”
“Can we ban this kind of relationship advice livestreamer that doesn’t bring any value to the platform? It’ll cause the younger
people to go astray.”
Giselle was pleased to see the thousands of comments that berated Charlotte.
Soon, all the posts related to Charlotte got taken down and disappeared without a trace. The same went for the trending search
topic
surprised. The Grant family treasured Charlotte–how could they watch as she suffered from such injustice?
