Chapter 75
Linda stared angrily at Giselle, believing that she still hadn’t given up on Jonathan. “Giselle, listen here. You’re not even qualified to marry into the Lawson family. Do me a favor and quickly get lost! Don’t even think about bothering Lottie and Jonathan!”
As she spoke, she approached Giselle and grabbed her hand.
Since Sebastian was by her side today, she was full of confidence. She was determined to humiliate Giselle the same way she did
to her last time.
A group of passersby started to gather around them, curious about the drama that was unfolding.
Giselle coldly watched as Linda got closer and closer to her. Seeing her contorted expression made Giselle’s stomach churn.
When Linda reached out to her, Giselle threw what she was holding out. The hot oatmeal spilled from the plastic container. Linda
screamed as it burned her hands, and red welts started appearing.
Sebastian immediately stepped forward and held onto Linda’s shoulder. His handsome face stared darkly at Giselle.
“Giselle!”
His voice was filled with anger, making the onlookers tremble subconsciously.
However, Giselle remained calm. “Your mother scared me. My instinctive reaction was uncontrollable.”
Of course, that wasn’t the truth. She had done it intentionally. It was a pity that she only bought oatmeal and not anything else.
The look of regret in Giselle’s eyes was as clear as day to Sebastian and Linda.
Linda was so angry that she almost fainted. Her hands burned with pain, and her face paled from all the surrounding gazes.
“Giselle, why have you changed to this extent? Regardless of everything, my mom raised you for more than 20 years-”
Sebastian had immediately resorted to emotional blackmail.
Giselle got annoyed and interrupted him bluntly, “Don’t mention anything about kindly raising me. What kind of life did I live in the Grant family? Sebastian, you know better than anyone else.”
The mocking glint in Giselle’s eyes silenced Sebastian instantly. She turned her gaze back to Linda’s twisted expression and said, “Let me make this clear. If you want Charlotte to be a mistress for the rest of her life, then go ahead and cause a scene in front of
me.”
“What do you mean?”
“Mr. L

likes me so much. Don’t you think he’ll let me marry Jonathan if I ask him?”

Giselle said this with the full intention of provoking them, but she wasn’t wrong either.
If she had taken the initiative to tell Richard that she wanted to marry Jonathan, she might have already become Mrs. Lawson by

“Giselle, you’ve gone crazy!” Was this the best retort Linda could come up with after so long?
Giselle smiled and calmly admitted, “Yeah. I’m insane, so don’t provoke me.”
If she truly went crazy, she was capable of hurting anyone.
Giselle then went to buy another fresh bowl of oatmeal. She didn’t care about what happened next after their confrontation.
A video of their fight went viral online, and Giselle undoubtedly became the target of insults from others.
In Jonathan’s ward, he scrolled through Twitter’s trending topics with one hand while the other was wrapped in a cast. His
expression darkened at one point when he heard what Giselle said in the video.
“…let me marry Jonathan if I ask him?”
He only focused on this sentence from the entire video.
Larry sneered disdainfully and said casually, “Jon, I knew Giselle couldn’t let you go. She’s just playing hard to get.
Everyone in their social circle could tell. Over the past seven years, Giselle had obediently followed Jonathan around like a dog.
Even when she saw Jonathan and Charlotte getting closer, she dared not say anything about them.
