Chapter 18
Furious and humiliated. Sylvia snarled, “Yesenia, you…”
She turned and realized it wasn’t Yesenia restraining her, but the venue’s security guards.
The stern–faced guards forcibly escorted Sylvia back to the stage.
Instantly, both the on–site audience and online viewers erupted.
“What’s happening? Who plagiarized?”
“Isn’t it obvious? Sylvia copied someone’s work!”
“Wow, cheating on a nationally live broadcasted competition? Did she think her status made her untouchable? Epic fail!”
The Mosley family stood up in unison. Braylon’s face darkened as hostile whispers surrounded them. “Has Ramiro lost his mind? Is he deliberately humiliating our family?”
Vicente clenched his fists but didn’t rush to defend his sister as usual
because he knew this wasn’t Ramiro’s doing.
His gaze locked onto Yesenia, the only one standing calm and untouched amid the chaos.
On stage. Sylvia finally processed the situation and began protesting. “What are you doing? I didn’t plagiarize! You’ve got the wrong person!”
Panic surged through her. Nothing made sense.

How could they possibly have discovered the truth? Yesenia had stood right beside her without saying a word.
The judge remained impartial and asked sternly, “Sylvia, is ‘Galaxy‘ truly your original work?”
“Of course,” Sylvia answered without hesitation. “I sketched it live here. You all witnessed it.”
At that moment, Braylon and his group pushed through the crowd to the front row.
fronted the judges and security, “How dare you accuse aughter of plagiarism! I’m calling our lawyers immediately. You’ll pay for this outrageous insult!”
Braylon was livid. Ramiro had already humiliated the Mosley family once, and this public allegation felt like a fresh, merciless assault on
honor.
The judge let out a scornful laugh before landing the final blow that exposed Sylvia’s lie and humiliated Braylon.
“During preliminary review, we’ve received, the original ‘Galaxy‘ submission. This is a blatant, unaltered copy of an existing design. It’s a disgrace to the fashion industry!”
As the judge spoke, the screen displayed a design identical to “Galaxy“, but with a different signature at the bottom.
“Yesenia Mosley!”
The audience erupted. “Wait, ‘Galaxy‘ was Yesenia’s work?”
“Damn, Sylvia has no shame! She plagiarized right in front of everyone? How brazen can she get?”
“And she’s stealing from Yesenia? I thought people with that last name had design talent. Turns out it was stealing! This is hilarious!”
“Damn, Yesenia’s incredible! Her designs are inspiring, and she masters multiple styles. Is she here to humble everyone else?”
Sylvia stood frozen, her face drained of color, eyes wide with horror. “This can’t be happening…”
Despite all her calculations, she never imagined Yesenia had submitted. this exact design from the beginning.
Of all designs, why did it have to be this one?
Her body grew cold.
When Sylvia turned and saw Braylon’s furious, red–eyed glare, her legs nearly gave out.
Only the security guards‘ firm grip kept her from collapsing to the floor.
Braylon suddenly turned his piercing gaze toward Sylvia. “Sylvia, what the hell is going on here?”
He was nearly going mad. Never had he imagined such a stain would tarnish their family name, creating this scandal in front of the entire
nation.
And of all people, she had plagiarized Yesenia, that girl raised in an insignificant household.
This level of humiliation was more than he could bear.
Sylvia trembled violently. “No, it’s not what you think…”
Overcome with terror, she fainted.
“Damn, the lead actress just passed out,” someone jeered.
“Call an ambulance! Any slower and she won’t be able to keep up the he won’t be able to keep up the
act!”
“Some genius she claimed to be. More like a born plagiarist!”
The venue erupted into chaos.
The reporters, of course, wouldn’t miss such a juicy scandal.
With Sylvia unconscious, they swarmed Braylon and Cayden instead.
“Mr. Mosley, did you know about your daughter’s plagiarism?”
“Was this your plan all along? Did the payment fall through?”
If Braylon hadn’t been clinging to the last shreds of his composure, he would have cursed them out right then.
The hell kind of nonsense were they spouting?
Yesenia quietly retreated from the chaotic epicenter, observing as if detached from it all.
She watched Braylon get mobbed by reporters, his face dark with humiliation as he bowed his head, wishing he could vanish to escape. the disgrace.
Hugging her arms, Yesenia allowed herself a smile.
How should she put it? This felt damn satisfying.
Didn’t Sylvia love showing off?
Didn’t the Mosley family constantly praise Sylvia, believing she brought them glory and benefits?

Well, she’d ruined that pride.
And now, she’d made sure they got all the attention they could ever
want.
When the paramedics came in to take Sylvia away, the Mosleys left as well. With the show over, Yesenia clapped her hands and turned to
leave.
Outside GeekFlux Group’s headquarters, she lowered her head to text Ramiro, “I’ll transfer today’s expenses to you.”
Between promotions, event setup, hiring judges, and inviting reporters. the costs had to be around 150 thousand dollars.
Ramiro, who had been watching the livestream from upstairs, replied instantly, “Today’s expense is on me. What a wonderful day it is!”
Yesenia smiled faintly just as a cold voice cut through the air, “What’s so amusing? Share it with me.
Yesenia froze.
As she looked up, she subtly tucked her phone away.
A second later, she flashed an ingratiating grin at the man inside the Maybach. “What a coincidence! What brings you here, Mr. Wyatt?”
Jayvion couldn’t be bothered to answer. He’d already turned away, leaving her with nothing but his sharp profile.
Rohan, sitting in the front, motioned for her to get in.
Yesenia hurried over, but the front seat was taken. She glanced at the black convoy behind them. “No space left. I’ll just ride in the back…”
“Get in.”
“But.”
“I won’t repeat myself.”
Yesenia hesitated, weighing the options of being punished immediately. by Jayvion or slightly later. She chose the latter.
Maybe she could do something about it.
She circled to the other side and slid in, pressing herself against the
sif she could occupy only half the seat.
on cast a derisive glance at her ridiculous attempt to keep her distance. With a quiet scoll, he instructed, “Go home.”
Yesenia only perched precariously on the edge of the seat.
As the Maybach pulled onto the main road, Yesenia lurched forward with the sudden acceleration, then swayed back.
The momentum sent her tumbling from the door straight toward Jayvion’s lap.
The scorching heat of his body radiated just inches away, impossible to
ignore.
