My Dead Sister Returned 2

My Dead Sister Returned 2
Chapter2
The few guests who had followed the Mosleys upstairs weren’t expecting such a scene.
“How could she lay hands on her own mother? So unfilial! Ms. Sylvia is so gentle, gracious, and considerate yet look at Yesenia…”
“I heard she was the same way when she lived with the Carson family, completely uncontrollable. She dropped out of school and eloped with some thug.”
“Yes, I heard that too. They even eloped to Bruvania, right? If the Mosley family hadn’t searched for her, she might never have been found. That place is such a mess. No wonder she came back like that!”
“My god, with a biological daughter like that, it would’ve been better to just leave things as they were. What bad luck! Ms. Sylvia is more than enough. No need for anyone else.”
Faced with the scolding and accusations, Yesenia remained calm as if they were not talking about her.
“Done?”
Her gaze was cool and quiet, the red mole beneath her eye standing out. “Did you see it with your own eyes, or were you eavesdropping from under the bed? You’re making baseless claims like this to smear my name. Do you even hear yourselves?”
Vicente sneered, “They are in your bed, Yesenia. Who are you trying to fool?”
She glanced at him. “So you do know you’re a fool.”
“Hey!”
Ignoring Vicente’s glare, Yesenia walked to the bed and suddenly pressed hard on the man’s face.
The man jolted upright in shock. Looking around the room full of people, he showed no shame. On the contrary, he looked rather smug. “Whew, no wonder she’s the Mosley heiress. What a ride!”
Yesenia asked calmly, “And which heiress are you talking about?”
“Of course it’s…”
They were just hired to do a job. All they knew was that a woman in this room was the Mosley heiress. No one had told them which one.
They hadn’t even seen who it was when they entered. After being drugged with a heavy dose, they couldn’t hold out and knocked each other out.
There were only two young women present. He glanced at Yesenia, who stood tall and composed beside him, and then turned to look at Sylvia, who was blushing and hiding behind the others.
After a moment’s thought, his gaze locked onto the latter. With a disgusting grin, he said, “Why so shy, Ms. Mosley? Weren’t you begging us to go harder just now?”
Sylvia’s face instantly went pale.
Vicente lunged forward and beat the man up. “You bastard! Framing my sister? I’ll kill you!”
Santino stepped in with a cold expression and said to security, “Take them to the police. Find out how they even got in here.”
Now that things had come to this, Belinda realized she had wrongly accused Yesenia.
Her expression softened a bit, but her tone was still scolding. After all, Yesenia had just embarrassed her in front of everyone.
“What are you standing there for? Hurry up and come with me.”
Yesenia didn’t move.
Sylvia, her face pale and her voice weak, bowed her head to Yesenia. “It was my recklessness that led everyone to misunderstand you, Yesenia. I’m sorry…”
Yesenia replied, “You say I hate you, Sylvia. But you stole my identity, took my parents and brothers, and lived the eighteen years that were supposed to be mine. You talk about leaving, yet you stay firmly rooted in the Mosley home. Sylvia, why wouldn’t I hate you?”
Sylvia froze, her expression turning even more awkward. Tears streamed down her face.
“It’s all my fault. I’ll leave. I’ll stay away from Mom, Dad, and the brothers. As long as they can dote on you alone…”
“Sylvia, don’t listen to her. She’s just ungrateful!” Vicente turned to yell at Yesenia in Sylvia’s defense. “If Sylvia hadn’t cared enough to bring us up here, you’d never have cleared your name!”
Santino also frowned. “Sylvia has already apologized. You should know when to stop.”
Belinda’s face darkened as well. “It was the nurse’s negligence back then that caused the mix-up. Why are you blaming Sylvia? She was just as clueless as you. Now that we’ve brought you home, what more do you want?”
Looking at how they defended Sylvia, Yesenia lowered her eyes. Her lashes trembled slightly.
“You haven’t changed at all. And that’s perfectly fine.”
When she looked up again, she looked more than determined.
“Keep going just like this. Keep spoiling your precious little darling. Keep believing everything she says without question. Keep treating her as the pride of the Mosley family. You don’t have to worry. I won’t cause you any trouble. And I won’t bring shame to the Mosley name. And I certainly won’t try to steal even a fraction of your attention away from Sylvia.”
Belinda frowned. “What do you mean by that?”
Yesenia opened the recording app on her phone and spoke each word clearly.
“From this moment on, I, Yesenia Carson Mosley, sever all ties with the Mosley family. I will not eat another bite of their food, ask for a single word from them, or take anything that belongs to them. I stayed with the Mosley family for less than four months. Any expenses incurred during that time will be repaid in full, down to the last cent. Whoever their daughter is from now on has nothing to do with me. However much they choose to dote on her is none of my concern. I, Yesenia Carson Mosley, have no further connection with the Mosley family.
“This recording will be sent to every member of the Mosley family as a record. Santino, please draft a formal severance agreement. Don’t worry. I won’t go back on my word.”
With that, Yesenia sent the recording to several of them.
The notification tones brought them back to reality.
Vicente stared in disbelief. “You’ve gone mad. You really have. Just because of a kidney, you’re cutting ties with the whole family? You’re insane!”
Santino gripped his phone tightly, eyes fixed on Yesenia. For the first time, he couldn’t see through her. “Do you even know what you’re saying?”
Was this really the clingy sister they had worked so hard to bring back?
Yesenia remained calm. “You never publicly acknowledged my connection to the Mosley family, nor offered me any compensation. This saves everyone the trouble. If you love Sylvia Mosley that much, there’s nothing I can do.”
Belinda was shaking with rage. “Fine! If you’ve got the guts, just go! Do you really think you can threaten us?”
Without hesitation, Yesenia walked out.
The Mosley family watched her leave without looking back. They were totally stunned.
Sylvia bit her lip. No! This would ruin her plan! She had gone to great lengths to get the family to bring Yesenia back to be a kidney donor. She couldn’t let her leave like this!
“I’ll go talk her into coming back!”

After walking out, Yesenia was about to book a ride when a Maybach slowly pulled up in front of her.
Three men in black suits stepped out of the car and surrounded her. They seemed polite, but their presence was forceful.
“Ms. Mosley, my boss would like to see you.”
Yesenia’s mind turned over the possibilities and landed on one.
She shrugged and bent down to get into the car.
Sylvia and the others ran out just in time to see Yesenia get into the Maybach and leave.
With a tinge of jealousy, Sylvia said, “When did she get to know such powerful people?”
Vicente scoffed, “It’s just a Maybach. What’s the big deal? When your hit drama airs and you become the leading actress, you can have as many as you want!”
Sylvia curled her lips into a smile. “Sure!”
Santino watched the car disappear, his expression darkening.
He had a feeling that something was about to change…

“Boss, isn’t it your birthday today? How come the Mosley family’s birthday banquet is for that fake peacock instead?”
Inside the car, Yesenia finally had a moment to respond to her messages.
“I’m not celebrating my birthday with a peacock,” she replied, joking for once.
“Exactly! Don’t do that! Boss, seriously, why would someone like you go back to the Mosleys to suffer?”
Ramiro Hebert was nagging on the other end. “You gave them everything! Your patents to the Mosley Group, special medicines to your brother’s hospital, and scripts to Vicente’s company… You did all that for them, and yet they only see Sylvia. I’m so mad!”
Hearing this, Yesenia chuckled. “So upset? Then maybe you can take back the patents.”
“You haven’t signed the contract yet and the lead role hasn’t even been finalized. How could they… wait… take back?”
Realizing what she meant, Ramiro screamed, “I’ll get someone to stop everything right now!”
“Yes, and everything else I gave to the Mosley family. Take it all back.”
“Good! Great! Boss, are you coming back? I’ll announce your identity to everyone tomorrow. The Mosleys will regret everything and cry their eyes out!”
“No. I have my plan.”
“What is it?”
A shadow flickered in Yesenia’s eyes. She typed, “Like… wiping out the Mosleys completely.”
“What?”
“I’ll tell you later. I’m going to pack and head to a hotel.”
“A hotel? Boss, I got you a villa in Erton Valley…”
Before he could finish, Yesenia had already switched to another app.
Ramiro was good at everything. With him managing the group, she could rest easy.
He was just a bit too chatty.
