My Dead Sister Returned 8
Chapter8
“No worse than you! Look at you! You let some random girl sleep at your place and act intimately with your sons! Are you any better? Yuck!”
Just one sentence made Braylon darken his face, and the Mosley family members behind him stiffened with the same expression.
Yesenia ignored them all and turned away without a trace of hesitation.
Sylvia saw the Mosleys’ reactions and felt her heart sink.
She lowered her head, as if deeply humiliated yet helpless, and sighed.
“I thought even without blood ties, my brothers and I could still be siblings and I could still attend to Dad, Mom, and Grandma…”
As she spoke, Sylvia clenched her sleeves tighter and tighter in frustration, her sorrow profound. “But in the end, I’m still just an outsider!”
“Sylvia, Yesenia is deliberately trying to drive a wedge between us. Don’t listen to her. Don’t be fooled!” Vicente kept comforting her repeatedly.
Sylvia looked up at him with red eyes, appearing utterly hurt.
Immediately, Vicente felt that he even wanted to kill Yesenia.
He still remembered that childhood birthday when Sylvia mysteriously said she had a gift for him.
Later, at the seaside, he saw that Sylvia had spelled out his name in shells on the beach. He was both surprised and deeply moved.
But due to carelessness then, Sylvia was swept away by the waves and nearly got lost. When the bodyguard pulled her from the sea, she was half-dead. She spent three whole days in emergency care at the hospital before she was saved.
Returning home, Vicente was locked in a dark room as punishment, while Yesenia secretly brought him food when she was still having a fever.
Since then, Vicente silently vowed to protect Sylvia for life. He would take on whoever bullied her!
No one had ever hurt Sylvia this badly.
Even if Yesenia was his blood sister, so what? He would never let her get away!
Others came to their senses. Theresa was furious and she said bitterly, “If I’d known she’d come back and cause such trouble, I wouldn’t have brought her home in the first place.”
Belinda lowered her head, expression unreadable. “Back then it was because they knew her blood type matched Sylvia’s. They wanted her to donate a kidney.”
“The transplant is not that urgent for now. Besides, the Mosley family is wealthy and powerful. As long as we pay enough money, it’s not a problem to find a kidney donor.
Braylon took a deep breath, thinking the same as Belinda. “Yesenia became like this because we tolerated her too much. Threatening to sever ties is just her way to manipulate us, hoping to force us to meet her unreasonable demands.”
“Dream on!” Grandma snapped angrily, glaring. “She can’t go back to the Carsons and now she can’t stomach the Mosleys. Since she’s so stubborn, let’s see how long she could hold on out there!”

Manor at Erton Valley…
In front of the floor-to-ceiling windows of the small three-story villa, Jayvion watched Yesenia get out of the car, his jaw tight with tension.
He curled his lips slightly, cold as ice. “Daring to come back.”
Emanuel was behind in his wheelchair, quietly adding, “Mr. Harrison told the driver to wait at the Mosley residence.”
Jayvion didn’t see this coming.
Emanuel thought for a moment and then reported everything that had just happened at the Mosley’s place to Jayvion.
Jayvion raised an eyebrow, rarely showing a playful expression. “An uneducated woman who spent a lot of time in Bruvania knows about antiques?”
He glanced at Emanuel. “Who told you to bring that woman up? I don’t want to hear about her.”
Emanuel quickly bowed his head. “Sorry.”
Jayvion withdrew his gaze and headed out in his wheelchair.
Emanuel followed. “Mr. Wyatt, aren’t you resting?”
Since Jayvion went to that place, he kept a habit of resting at ten o’clock sharp.
It was almost eleven now.
“If I don’t go to check on her, Harrison will bring her right into my room.”
Emanuel thought for a while.
That seemed like something Harrison would do.
Downstairs, the butler, Rohan Krause, was briefly explaining the layout of the manor to Yesenia.
“To the east is the greenhouse garden, and to the west there’s a golf course… Mr. Harrison instructed me to prepare the guest room on the second floor. Ms. Mosley, please have a rest now. Tomorrow I will take you around to have a look.”
“Alright, thank you, Rohan.”
“You’re welcome, Ms. Mosley.”
Yesenia took a glance at the small villa. It was styled in modern fashion, simple yet elegant.
“Sorry to bother you so late. Have Jayvion and Harrison already gone to bed?”
Rohan replied, “Mr. Harrison went for a walk at the University of Kraitburgh’s playground. Mr. Wyatt is resting upstairs.”
“Going for a walk at the university playground this late? Doesn’t the estate have enough space?” Yesenia couldn’t help but feel puzzled.
Rohan cast a subtle glance at her and said, “Mr. Harrison is both relieved and envious that Mr. Wyatt has found true love. He also longs for that, so he went to the university to flirt.”
Didn’t see this coming.
The young men in this family were way more down-to-earth than those Mosleys.
“Since you knew you were bothering us, why did you come?”
Jayvion’s cold voice chimed in.
Yesenia squinted slightly as she looked over.
Jayvion sat in a wheelchair, wearing gold-rimmed glasses. His features looked even more defined and deep. He wore a deep blue silk pajama, looking much more relaxed and elegant than when they first met.
But Yesenia knew very well that deep down he was a beast. If displeased, he would attack fiercely and attack without hesitation.
They locked eyes. Yesenia’s face showed nothing but sincere honesty.
“The key to a good day lies in the morning. If I come early tomorrow, it might spoil Mr. Wyatt’s good mood. I’m only thinking about your health.”
Everyone present, including Emanuel, couldn’t help but hold their breath.
She was bold.
Jayvion’s gaze moved slowly to her slender, fair neck. Then his thin lips curved slightly.
“I really want to strangle you, Ms. Mosley. You’re so understanding.”
Yesenia’s smile did not fade. Not a trace of fear surfaced.
Between them, an invisible tension filled the air.
Still, Jayvion was the first to look away. “If you’re so eager to stay here with me, then so be it.”
“Rohan, show her to the servants’ quarters.”
Yesenia frowned. “What do you mean by that?”
Jayvion’s lips twisted into a half-smile, ambiguous and mocking. “Ms. Mosley, my fiancee, as the Wyatt family’s honored guest, naturally holds the top position. Yet you, Yesenia, have already severed ties with the Mosley family. Our engagement is void. What right do you have to be a guest here?”
At his last words, his eyes narrowed sharply. The silent pressure pressed straight down on Yesenia.
Her smile gradually faded.
Jayvion seemed pleased by her change in expression. “Not satisfied? You can leave. No one’s stopping you.”
Rohan glanced at Jayvion, too intimidated by his fury to plead on Yesenia’s behalf.
Then he looked at Yesenia, genuinely worried that she might leave in anger.
After a long moment, Yesenia’s lips moved slightly.
