I’d known about Ryan’s affair for a while, but I
hadn’t told Ashley.
Knowing her, she’d immediately report back
to Ryan, “My sister says you’re cheating, but I
don’t believe her! I’ll always trust you, honey~
Those other women are just hotels, but I’m
home~”
I hadn’t planned on calling Ryan, but the
receptionist at his usual hotel informed me he
was there again.
A plan sparked in my mind. Ashley would hear
the affair firsthand, then catch him red-
handed.
I had to admit, Ashley’s social media
addiction had its uses. She was surprisingly
resourceful.
She called the police, reported Ryan missing
for over 24 hours, and asked them to help
find him.
<
Once they tracked him to the hotel, she
reported him for soliciting prostitution,
leading to Ryan and his mistress being caught
in the act.
When my mother called, urging me to come
home, I was busy “rewarding” Logan.
He broke something, I gave him candy.
He spat, I bought him a toy.
He hit someone, I cheered and took him to
McDonald’s.
He might not be able to speak, but… he sure
knew how to smile.
“Sarah, there’s trouble at Ashley’s again. Come quickly…”
Showtime.
I grabbed Logan and the leftover McDonald’s,
eager for the main event.
At my aunt’s house, the scene was eerily
similar to two years prior.
The only difference — the main players looked

The only difference the main players looked
much worse for wear.
Logan, upon seeing his grandmother, ran to
her, reaching for her breasts as if to nurse.
The old woman, blinded by love for her
precious grandson, indulged him despite his
rudeness.
“Honey, Grandma’s too old to make milk
anymore. Go to Mommy, okay?”
Logan, seemingly understanding, pinched his
grandmother’s breast hard.
“Ouch! My, aren’t you strong!”
With the pleasantries out of the way, the real
drama began.
Ashley screamed about Ryan’s infidelity.
Ryan, defiant, seemed almost relieved.
“Fine, let’s get divorced.”
Just as I’d predicted.
He’d had his fun, the child was born, and this

He’d had his fun, the child was born, and this
undesirable wife? Time for an upgrade.
“But Logan stays with me.”
“You’re dreaming!”
Ashley lunged at Ryan, but my aunt held her
back.
“I carried him for nine months, gave birth to
him! You’ve never lifted a finger! He’s not
going anywhere with you!”
Ryan remained calm. “Sue me. You’re an
unemployed, ugly mess. How are you going to
support him? You couldn’t even make money
as a prostitute.”
Ryan’s insult enraged my uncle, who attacked
him. But he was no match for Ryan in his
prime.
He took several blows before the neighbors,
once again spectators, pulled them apart.
This time, I didn’t dissuade Ashley from
divorcing. But now, she was too afraid to
L
leave.
She feared for Logan, and she feared being
alone.
My aunt held Ashley, sobbing, “Why can’t you just be happy? Live a normal life? I don’t
expect you to be like Sarah, but can’t you just be content with Ryan? Now your father’s
been hurt because of you…”
See? Every man is his wife’s precious
treasure.
Untouchable.
