The words in the diary were filled with the deep affection that Wanda had for Eric and Ben. However, later on, it was only filled with her loneliness%
When she hid in the closet during a thunderstorm, feeling terrified and seeking comfort, he was in bed with Christina.
When she eagerly went to retrieve her late mother’s belongings, he continued to deceive her!

Eric could not imagine the pain she must have felt when writing those heart–wrenching words. Yet, from the force of her pen stroke, he could feel her determination.}

Through his negligence and betrayal, he inadvertently drove her to her death.
Ben did not understand why his father was crying so bitterly. In his confusion, he said, “When Mommy left, she said she was bringing Christina to live with us. Isn’t Daddy happy about that?”
His words were like the last straw that crushed the camel’s back. Eric lost control and pushed Ben to the ground. He spat out, “I forbid you to mention that wretched woman in front of me!”
His voice, cold as ice and the fury in his eyes terrified the five–year–old child, He cried out, “I hate you! You’re a bad daddy! I want Mommy!”
Sobbing. Ben scrambled to his feet and ran toward the door. He naively thought that as long as he followed the direction his mom went, he would be able to find her.

Meanwhile, Christina had just come across the news of a woman. She was suspected to be Mrs. Gordon, who died in a car accident. Despite the blurred, censored image of the mangled face, the sight filled her with glee !
Yet, before she could relish the moment, the doorbell rang. She rushed over to open it only to see a deliveryman.8

“These are sent from a lady by the name of Wanda Hamilton. She said she is gifting you her husband and son. She said they were the trash she no longer wanted.”
After he said that, the delivery man gestured to two large boxes.
When she looked at the two boxes, Cristina wrinkled her nose in disgust and said, “I don’t want them either. Throw them “Don’t you dare throw those away!”

Eric’s voice boomed as he appeared. He strode over in three quick steps and tore open the boxes. Inside, there were all the things that he and Ben had given to Wanda.}
He clutched the cardboard box tightly as if he would be able to the last remnants of Wanda’s feelings for him
Ben’s eyes landed on a framed family photo he thought his mother had discarded. He suddenly remembered the words that his mother had said before she left home.
She said if she left Daddy…!
Been finally realized why he felt intense sadness at that time. In a small voice, he tugged at his father’s sleeve and asked, “Did Mommy leave because she wanted to divorce you?”
Caught off guard, Eric choked back his tears and replied bitterly, “It’s more than a divorce. She’s never coming back.”
Christina immediately understood what he meant. She forced herself to hold back the joy in her heart and pretended to be considerate. “Wanda purposely sent these things over, surely she wants to take the initiative to step aside
“Did I ask for your opinion?” Eric cut her off, his tone sharp like a blade. “All the things I wamed you about before did you treat them as meaningless noise?”
