Five Intention
Catalina’s POV
“Are you surprised?”
I watched her come toward me, giving me a mocking smile. “You paid for hurting. me. Did you know it was Javier who did this? To make you pay for what you did to
me.”
I laughed, which was not the reaction Sophia was expecting. She thought I would feel fear for what she had done or be mad
because Javier was involved. Her face
hardened.
“What’s so funny?” she asked, stopping
in front of me.
“You,” I said with a laugh. Her teeth gritted, and she slapped me hard.
“Stop laughing, you bitch!” she snarled, then grabbed the back of my hair. “I‘ ll make you feel the same pain you caused

me earlier.” She pulled my hair down, but I didn’t give her the satisfaction. I smiled at her as if it was nothing, which annoyed her even more. Then I headbutted her, catching her off guard.
She cursed in pain as she staggered backward. “You bitch!” she shouted, holding her forehead where a lump was forming.
“Don’t let me get free, because if you do, I’ll make your life a living hell. You’ll beg to die, but I won’t let you,” I warned her, grinning mischievously.
I saw a flicker of fear in her eyes, though she tried to hide it with anger. “Don’t worry, you won’t be free until Javier says so. You’ll be the one living in hell here, and I’ll make sure you’re six feet under the ground,” she stated confidently.
I smirked. “We’ll see. Better watch your back.”
Because if you don’t, you’ll be the one lying

on the ground with your child.
She crossed her arms and gave me a confident look. “You are good for nothing, Catalina. I am not afraid of your empty
threats.” Then she signaled two of the
men.
“Hold her,” she ordered.
What’s she gonna do?
The two men tried to grab me, but I kicked them hard in their groins. They weren’t expecting my move.
Luckily, they hadn’t chained my feet.
“Can’t you just hold her! You idiots!” Sophia shouted angrily, looking at me with so much contempt. “No one will save you, Catalina! I’ll make sure you’re half–dead before you leave here! Not even your husband, who did this to you. It’s so pathetic that the husband you love chose me and loves me with his child.”
She rubbed her stomach, giving me a

pitying smile. “Did you know what Javier told me about you? That you’re just a boring wife, not good in bed, too
submissive, and that you’d do anything he told you to do, even jump off a building, because you’re crazy in love with him. You’re too perfect, which bored him. He found me refreshing, the one who excites him, and loves me like the rising sun.”
“Why can’t you say anything? Does it hurt that the man you love sees you that way? He wanted me to carry his child, and we will get married soon. He promised me and said he’ll divorce you,” she proudly declared.
I smiled like I was laughing. “If that’s true, why didn’t he agree when I handed him the divorce papers? Who’s being played by him?”
Her eyes narrowed, and she laughed like she was being strangled. “He told me about it, but he wanted you to think he still loved you, because you’re still useful.”

I hummed, nodding, because that part was true. I was still useful. Still.
Javier Alarcon, you’ll pay for doing this, and I’ll make sure you’ll be begging me as I inflict pain on you.
“Speechless, huh?” Sophia said with satisfaction, and I didn’t bother to say anything.
I was planning my escape.
“You can’t escape from here,” she said, as though she had read my mind. “Get these useless men out!” she shouted, and two other men entered, wearing the same black masks, to take the unconscious men away.

Sophia’s eyes gleamed with a twisted delight. She walked closer, her breath hot against my face. “Let’s see how tough you are now, Catalina,” she hissed.

blood. My blood.

“I told you I’d make you pay,” she whispered, her voice full of malice. “And now, your unborn baby will pay the price.”
I fell to my knees, clutching my stomach as pain overwhelmed me. Sophia stepped back, watching me with cold satisfaction.
“Set the factory on fire,” she commanded her men. “Leave no evidence.”
As the flames began to rise around me, my thoughts were on my baby. Desperately, I struggled to break free from the chains, determined to save my child.
My baby, I’ll save you, please, be strong.
