Chapter 4
Cassidy cried out in a delicate manner, with a tear hanging in her eye, not falling to the ground, as she looked at me. “Fiona, I know I have let you down. just wanted to apologize to you and wish you and Charlie well. Why did you hurt me like this? You knew I was recently pregnant.”
“Even if you hated me, the child was innocent,”
She held Charlie’s hand and whispered in his surprised gaze, “Charlie, this child is.”
Sho shyly lowered her eyes, hesitating to speak, but her meaning was quite clear.
Unexpectedly, Charlie was not as excited as she had imagined, but rather looked at her with a puzzled expression.
Davin angrily spoke up. “Mr. Collier, Fiona, taking advantage of being pregnant, not only insulted Cassidy by calling her child a bastard and calling her a bitch, but also cursed her for continuously giving birth to bastards like a saw.”
She also throw stones at Cassidy, but I stopped her. Then she threatened me with the baby in her belly, saying that I would harm her unborn child and make you kill me. It’s okay if I suffer a little, but Cassidy is so kind and shouldn’t be bullied like this!
Charlie turned his head to look at me, and the crimson anger in his eyes told me that no matter how I explained, he would not believe me
“Fiona, Cassidy
ly was my lifesaver. Have I ever mentioned that I won’t spare anyone who dares to harm her, even if you are my wife, carrying my child?
Carrying his child?
I stood up shalaly and laughed sarcastically, “Charlie, you tell me, is the child I’m carrying really yours?”
Charlie’s face froze, and after a moment of panic, he quickly tried to shift the blame.
“Whose do you hope for if not mine? Davin, take her back and lock her up. Without my command, no one is allowed to let her out.”
After saying that, he walked away with Cassidy in his arms without looking back.
Davin squatted in front of me, holding two sharp steel nails in his land, and smirked, “Have you ever seen our bone–breaking nails in our gang? With just one, your foot would be completely useless, and you would spend the rest of your life crawling on the ground like a dog.”
I stared in horror, but he stepped on my foot, and two broken bone nails forcefully hammered into my ankle.
I was in excruciating pain, completely blacked out
I woke up two days later.
My phone was filled with Cassidy’s bragging posts.
It was a look I had never seen on Charlie in the three years.
The formidable gang leader personally cooked, soaked the feet, and styled the hair for a woman.
Feeding mouthful by mouthful, the watery gifts filled the entire background wall
They strolled through the amusement park, eating the same plece of pastry, with love shining in their eyes.
I swallowed my tears and dragged my painfully aching legs, taking out the divorce agreement that had been prepared in the drawer long ago. Along with the examination report of the wound I left behind eight years ago when I saved someone in Catarre, and a reconding pen, I placed them all in the most conspicuous place.
I climbed up the window with difficulty, and the waves were churning below the villa. Not far away, an inconspicuous small boat had already rowed closer.
On the phone, Charlie’s message came in, “Do you know you were wrong? As long as you come over and apologize to Cassidy, she can forgive you‘
“I have already spoken up for you, so please he obedient and don’t make it difficult for ine.”
1 replied in the past, “My biggest mistake was saving a black–clothed man who had been stabbed right times, in the late night of Glory Port in Catarry, eight years ago.”
I lost my phone and I jumped into the sea.
And at that moment, the phones on the ground went crazy and started shaking
