Not long after Logan and the others left, Ivy and Pierre left the restaurant too.
When they reached the parking lot, Pierre suddenly said, “Wait a moment, I’ll be right back.”
Once he said that, he left the parking lot.
Ivy did not know what he was up to, so she sat in the car and waited for him to come back.
Actually, it was because Pierre had caught sight of Logan when he stepped out.
He had no idea what Logan had done, but he knew that the latter must have done something for Ivy to treat him the way she did.
Logan felt a chill behind him, and as he turned around, he saw Pierre leaning against a street lamp with his hands in his pockets, staring at him.

Pierre’s gaze was scrutinizing, and it caused him feel numb all over.
“Logan, he’s looking at you…” Henry whispered.
“I’m not blind.” Logan immediately suppressed his shattered heart and looked at Pierre with the same gaze.
Henry and Andrew left almost immediately.
Logan was not a crybaby, but he was much more glass–hearted when dealing with Ivy. As for other matters, he could always assume the posture of a person high up above.
So, they did not think that Logan would be at a disadvantage even if the other party was Pierre.
When the gods fought, everything would be fine.

After seeing the two of them leave, Pierre walked toward Logan.
“Hello, Logan.” Pierre still wore a gentlemanly smile on his face.
Logan once again saw the proferred hand and did not plan to shake it. Yet, when he remembered Ivy calling him rude, he shook Pierre’s hand.
Three seconds in, he suddenly frowned as Pierre’s expression abruptly changed. There was a distant look of indifference on his face.
Pierre released his grip, and Logan’s hand felt numb. If Pierre had used any more strength earlier, his hand would have been as good as
a goner.
Hram? Wait! If he was injured by Pierre, would Ivy take pity on him?
A good idea!
Suddenly, he wore an expression of pain.
Pierre was puzzled. What was he doing?
“Send me to the hospital. My wound opened,” Logan said weakly before he hunched over.
Pierre was totally confused with a bunch of question marks in his head.
Just like that?
With his back turned against Pierre, Logan started to wound himself as he violently jabbed the knife wound on the left side of his rib.
He looked down, and his wound was bleeding. Great!
Pierre was silent for a moment, and upon seeing the blood on Logan’s shirt, he was confused for a short time.
“Are you made out of porcelain or something?” he asked.

“No, I just used a little too much strength, so it affected my wound.” He took a deep breath.
Suddenly, Pierre’s phone rang. It was a call from Ivy. He ignored Logan and answered the call, “What’s the matter, Puffy?”
Puffy? Was that Ivy?
What a cute nickname.
Even he had never called her something like that before.
Oh, how he would like to shed tears of envy!
“Just drive your car over. We might need to take Logan to the hospital,” he said as he glanced at Logan.
Ivy was flabbergasted. To the hospital again?
Her temper suddenly erupted. “Just ignore him! He’s pretending!”
Pierre glanced at Logan’s wound and replied, “His wound is bleeding. Doesn’t look like he’s pretending.”
When Logan heard from Pierre’s mouth that Ivy said he was pretending, he felt wronged again. Although he was pretending, he was indeed injured.
Oh, if he had known, he would not have pretended to be so seriously wounded.
“Yeah, alright. Come over first then.”
After hanging up the phone, Pierre asked in a rather puzzled tone, “How did you get hurt there?”
He could understand where Logan was injured, but the location of the injury was somewhat abnormal.
There was a thin layer of sweat on Logan’s forehead. It really hurt.
Pierre also realized that he was in pain, so he did not ask anything further and quietly waited for Ivy to arrive.
Logan glanced at Henry and Andrew, who were not too far away, motioning for them to leave quickly and not show themselves!
Sure enough, as his good buddies, they immediately understood what Logan meant. Yet, they would not leave. Who did not like to watch drama, especially the drama of their own good buddy!
Soon, Ivy arrived.
Logan was ready to take advantage of his weakness to lay in Ivy’s arms. Oh, just thinking of it made the wound hurt less!
But… reality was a cruel mistress.
The one driving was Ivy, Pierre was in the co–driver’s seat while he sat in the back seat alone.
He simply could not be bothered at this point, and his wound hurt even more.
Ivy glanced at the rearview mirror, and Logan was indeed in very bad shape.
Well, a scumbag did get his comeuppance.
After arriving at the hospital, Edward was shocked for a moment when he saw Logan. What surprised him more was Ivy and the unknown man.
However, the unknown man looked quite sophisticated.
“What’s wrong with you now?” Edward frowned when he treated the wound. Having the wound bleed repeatedly was an infection risk.
Edward was a little angry. “Can’t you just stay at home and rest?”
After treating Logan’s wounds, he advised the latter to stay in the hospital for another two days to prevent any overnight fever.

Pierre thought that things were quite serious from what he had heard, and he asked Ivy, “Should I get him something?”
“No need, he’s not short on money or anything at all.”
When Logan heard that, a voice screamed in his heart. “I’m short of love! LOVE!”
Yet, he could not speak. He did not know what to say either. He was afraid that he would make Ivy angry by saying the wrong things.
When Henry and Andrew arrived, they saw Logan lying on the hospital bed, and they were stunned. How did he get himself hospitalized again?
“Since they’re here, let’s go.” Ivy glanced at them both.
Pierre demurred. “Aren’t you being a bit too cold?”
“What do you mean cold? He took a stab for someone he liked. Why should I take care of him instead of Stella when he’s suffered such an injury?” Her eyes were red with anger as she ran out of the ward.
“Ivy.” Seeing the change in Ivy’s expression, Logan hurriedly got out of bed to chase after her.
Pierre pondered what she said carefully and cast a cold glance at Logan as he held the latter down. “Just rest up and recover. You don’t have to worry about this.”
He then left the ward.
“It’s over. Logan, it’s all over. The hell were you doing? Why did you have to push her into a situation that is disadvantageous to you?” Even Henry was royally pissed.
“The fact that you hid this wound aside, you had to push her toward the past. Can you use your brains for once, Logan?!” Even Andrew was furious. Logan was usually quite alert, but for some reason, he would act like he was mentally challenged whenever he saw Ivy!
Logan moved his lips but found that his words failed him, so he just lay in bed.
What kind of drama was this? It was so dramatic that those watching the drama were about to explode with anger themselves.
Suddenly, he asked in a hoarse voice, “Am I a failure?”
“At least you have some self–awareness.”
Logan shut his mouth and said nothing else.
Yeah, he thought that he was quite the failure too.
When Ivy exited the hospital, Pierre caught up to her.
He picked her up and brought her inside the car.
“Lil Puffy felt wronged, eh?” Pierre pulled out a few pieces of tissue and wiped her tears.
Ivy became choked up and said, “I’m not upset. I’m really, really angry. Why should I do something for him when he didn’t even treat me well. That fool.”
