“In that case, I think it’s great that Ivy left you,” Andrew responded.
Henry was having fun watching from the sidelines. “Just let Ivy go and start a family with your girlfriend.”
“What girlfriend?” Logan suddenly realized what they were hinting at.
“We’re talking about your Stella.” When Henry mentioned her name, his tone sounded cold.
Logan was in denial. Although it was a political marriage, he gave whatever Ivy wanted. His docile impression of her was deeply rooted in him. Plus, since they had already spent three years together, he thought that Ivy was sensible enough to know that there was nothing going on between him and Stella.
He understood that women would normally get jealous when other women got near their husbands. Nevertheless, he figured that he knew Ivy all too well, thinking that she would not misunderstand and get upset.
She had always put him at ease. That was why he never bothered to explain his situation to Ivy.
When he thought about it, Logan felt that something was wrong. He quickly got up and left the spa center to visit Ivy’s family,
After Logan left, Henry was confused. “How likely do you think that Ivy will leave him?”
“Not very likely.” Andrew shook his head.
Henry nodded. “There’s no way Ivy would do something like that,” he thought as he recalled Ivy’s meek image.
However, Ivy had proven them wrong. Not only had she left Logan, but they also did not know that Ivy was rebellious by nature.
When Logan arrived at the Gray mansion, it was already six in the evening.
Ivy’s parents were both at home, so they were shocked to see Logan at their doorstep.
“Logan, you’re already discharged?” Arthur Gray asked.
Arthur knew that Logan had gotten hurt from protecting a woman. He had also called Ivy to ask about Logan’s condition some time
ago.
Ivy and Logan’s marriage had cemented a business alliance. Although he recognized that Logan was a capable man, it did not mean that he would think his daughter lucky to have Logan as her husband.
On the contrary, he knew how Logan had been unfaithful to his own daughter, so he wanted Ivy to end the marriage when the time came to end her suffering.
Since the Gray family was wealthy, it was not as if they could not take care of Ivy if she left him.
Compared with Arthur, Ivy’s mom, Grace Gray, did not even want to deal with Logan. It was already good enough that she did not face him with a poker face.
“Yes, I just got out today,” Logan said as he looked around and confirmed his speculation when he did not see Ivy.
“She must still be in Colf Valley,” he thought.
“What are you here for, then?” asked a voice from the stairway.
It was Ivy’s younger brother, Skylar Gray.
Logan figured that Skylar did not really like him, but he was not sure why he was disliked.
“Is Ivy home?” Even though Logan had gotten his answer, he still asked the question that he had been meaning to ask.
Skylar smiled, but his eyes were cold. He turned to grab himself a drink from the table.
“She’s not. What’s the matter?” Arthur replied.

Logan thought that he should inform them about Ivy being in Colf Valley and her friend’s marriage, so he told them everything but did not mention the divorce.
Ivy’s parents made eye contact with each other. “Kelly? Who’s that?”
The moment they heard Logan’s story, they knew immediately that Ivy had been lying. The story was full of loopholes.
There was no way Ivy had been bullied since she was the type to beat someone up to protect herself. In no way did she need someone to
rescue her.
Back when she was still in school, she often got into fights with others. Whenever she could not beat her opponents, she would bring Skylar along. In those days, everyone was afraid of the Gray siblings.
Skylar suddenly chuckled.
Seeing Ivy’s parents go silent, Logan was puzzled.
Arthur stuttered. “I–Ivy’s…probably still not back from the ceremony yet.”
Skylar could not hold back his laughter. “Dad really is something for tricking Logan,” he thought.
You could call Ivy and ask her when she’s coming back.” Grace finally spoke.
“I bet this is a sign of Ivy planning a divorce,” she figured.
“Call her, huh…” Logan pursed his lips. “But she hasn’t replied my texts.”
Once Logan left, Grace turned to Skylar. “Sky, did Ivy tell you where she is currently?”
He was already giving Ivy a call.
After she picked up, Skylar asked, “Ives, where are you?”
Ivy immediately made a guess. “Did Logan come to our place?” Before Skylar could answer, Ivy continued, “Good, I’ll be back in a jiffy,” and she ended the call.
Ivy appeared at their doorstep in a leisurely look less than half an hour later.
“Ivy, what’s going on?” Grace quickly sat her down on the couch and grabbed her a drink while she asked.
“I divorced Logan. Quick, congratulate me.”
“That was fast.” Skylar walked over and sat on the back of the couch.
Arthur sighed. “You tricked him into doing it.”
“Dad, that’s where you’re wrong. We went our separate ways in a peaceful manner. He was so happy when we went to get the procedure done.” Ivy chuckled.
“She’s right, Dad. Sure, it didn’t matter that he cheated since this was a business marriage. But the fact that he even asked Ives to go take care of him after he got injured was so inconsiderate.
“You shouldn’t care about him. The marriage is over anyway.” Skylar supported Ivy.
Arthur felt that Skylar was right. “Alright, let’s not bother ourselves with him. He’s been in the wrong from the start, anyway.”
The Gray siblings then headed upstairs before Skylar turned to Ivy. “So, how long are you going to put on the act?”
“To hell with that, I’m dropping it. They say that marriages end love, but my marriage never had love to begin with. It’s a good thing that Logan always did bad things. My affection for him vanished long ago.”
Skylar laughed. He knew how unfaithful Logan was. Ives had always told him about the bad things that Logan had done, and both of them would roast him together.
Later that night, Logan invited Henry and Andrew out for a drink.

“So have you asked them?” Henry was clearly having fun watching from the sidelines.
“It seemed like they were hiding something from me,” Logan said. As someone with year–long business experience, he could read and observe their expressions.
Andrew suddenly thought of something and looked at Henry. “Do you still remember how she looked when she walked out of the ward that day?”
Henry clapped his hands. “Oh, yeah. She exceptionally happy, completely different from her usual self.”
Now, he reckoned that Ivy had been pretending all along w
he did not dare to tell Logan.
Logan’s eyes dimmed. “That was the day I agreed to divorce her,” he said to himself.
He instantly called Ivy, but his call was cut short a

Henry laughed from the side. “I’m dying of laughter. You’re dead meat, Logan.”
“Get over it, jerk. What are you still calling her for? This is what you wish
for.” Andrew agreed with Henry.

Logan gazed at them. He then went to a corner to call his assistant, asking him to search for Ivy’s whereabouts immediately.”
He hoped that she was just jealous.
