“You okay Morgan? I’m gonna so kill that jerk!” she says before stomping off
I rush to follow her and find her face to face with Cole. This isn’t good.
“You’re a no good son of a b***h!” she shouts and shoves him. Oh no.
“And why is that?” he asks smoothly.
“Don’t act like you don’t know you mother trucker!” she shouts again. He chuckles.
“I don’t know. Why don’t you tell me?” he teases. Emily is funing by now.
“You no good ba****d! You! ****g rejected my best friend as your mate because she’s not good enough for you huh? Well she’s the best you’ll ever find. Em throws a punch at his perfect jaw line and gets a good hit. It throws his head to the side. Em! You shouldn’t have done that! I rush in and grab a red Emily. She is very angry. I pull her away from the scene quickly and pall her into the bathroom.
“Em! You shouldn’t have done that. You’re gonna be in so much trouble!” I say to her and push her towards the counter. She jumps on and looks at me sadly.
“I’m sorry Morgan. He is so stupid to reject you. Are you mad at me?” she asks me softly as I wet a paper towel to wash her scabbed knuckles. I turn my head to her and give her a small smile.
“No, I could never be mad at you after that. That was so awesome. Thank you. You even punched him! That was awesome! You punched Cole freaking Greystone! That was just, wow.” I say to her and hug her tightly,
She laughs and hugs back before I pull away. “Let’s get you cleaned up. School starts in a half hour. And I’m sure the principal will want to see you.” I say with a laugh. She chuckles and nods with a smile.
“Emily Lowe, Cole Greystone, and Morgan Mayor please report to the front office” the lady over the intercom says. We currently sit in Home Room which I have with Emily, and gladly not Cole.
1 sigh and stand up with Emily and grab my things as I wave goodbye to Mrs. Clark and exit the class with Em by my side. I lanew Em would get called, but why are they calling me?
“Why do you think they’re calling me?” I ask Emily. She turns to me and shrugs.
You stopped the fight from going further, and everyone knows I was talking about you when I was shouting at Cole.” she answers. I nod and push the office doors open and see Cole, who has a big bruise on his jaw, sitting in an office chair. I laugh quietly at the mark. Good job Em!
I put my hand out by my side and Em high fives it. She saw it as well. I look at her and see her giggling. Cole looks up and narrows his eyes at us before getting up and stomping over to us, with a finger pointed accusingly at me
“This is all your fault!” he shouts. 1 cower slightly before standing up tall again.
“No, it’s your own. You should really learn how to accept the fault.” I say calmly. He is shaking with anger. Wow. He has anger issues.
“Don’t you dare talk to me like that!” he shouts angrily. 1 laugh.
“I can talk to you any way I want. Your not my parent.” I say to him with a smirk. I’m on a roll!
He’s about to respond when the principal, who I’m guessing has been standing there for a while, clears his throat. I blush as he raises his eyebrows at us He opens the door for us and motions us in

Suspension And Horrible Lies
We sit down in the uncomfortable chairs. Emily to the left of me, and Cole to the right. His amazing scent invades mg nose as he sits down. It calms me, even after everything. It does, and will, until I die.
“So anyone wanna tell me what happened this morning?” Mr. Andrews asks us.
“I don’t lasow, she just came onto me. Maybe she has a crush on me. Who knows.” Cole says. I scoff and roll my eyes as Em stands up angrily.
In your dreams man wh**e!” Emily shouts, I grab her arms and pull her back onto the chair.
“Ms. Lowe, please watch your language, you are at school” Mr. Andrews says. Emily looks down and blushes.
“Sorry Mr. Andrews.” she says quietly. Cole rolls his eyes and smirks
“Okay, Ms. Mayor, can you tell me what happened?” Mr. Andrews says, turning his attention to me.
“Um, it was just a small misunderstanding.” I say quietly, rubbing my hands together.
“And what was the misunderstanding?” he asks me, Great. Now what? Think Morgan, think!
“Um, I just, you know, had a crush on Cole, told him, and he told his friends I guess, and 1 complained to Emily. She went all best friend bear and attacked him. It’s all my fault and I’m so sorry.” I say to him. He raises an eyebrow and nods slowly.
“If that’s all, then, you’re all free to go, but Ms. Lowe, your suspended for a week” he says and motions us out.
We all leave the principals office and Cole walks away while Emily turns to me
“Good job Moo Moo! Nice lie.” she says proudly. I’ve never been good at lying, so this was an accomplishment. I laugh and nod.
“Okay Em, but we have to get to second period.” I say and drag her to class
Lunch
I grab the bucket of fries and cheeseburger that I always get for lunch, and walk to where Emily and I sit.
In my lunchroom, there is your normal tables, but on the walls, there are these island things that stick out of the wall with chairs attached, and they’re located by the windows. We sit on the island things.
1 plop down next to a clearly hungry Emily, and take small bites of my burger. “How was class?” I ask Emily. She shrugs.
“Okay I guess, but you know the lecture Mr. Wilhelin gave? So boring!” she says. I laugh and nod
1 know right! The guy I sit next to fell asleep, and had drool. So, ew!” 1 say and shudder at the memory that will haunt me forever.
“Ick! I would of barfed then and there if that happened to me!” she says, with a disgusted face. I burst out laughing at her face. She looks so ridiculous! “Forget you!” she says, and turns back to her food.
