Chapter 11
In the surveillance footage, Brandon was cocky and aggressive.
“Quit acting so high and mighty. Mr. Whitaker’s already got a new girl–you’re nothing now.”
“You’re lucky I even want you.”
The disgusting words made Grayson’s vision go red with rage.
And the moment he saw Brandon’s hand creep under Savannah’s skirt…
Grayson exploded, slamming his fist straight through the surveillance monitor.
“Go to the Rowes. Bring Brandon back—now.”
His assistant tried to reason with him. “Mr. Whitaker, the Rowes aren’t nobodies. Kidnapping their heir like that… it might not be
wise.”
“Not wise?”
Grayson shot him a death glare, and the assistant immediately shut up.
Grayson had ruled the business world for years. Of course he knew what lines not to cross.
But now? Now that Savannah was gone? Right and wrong didn’t matter anymore.
They found Brandon lounging in a private club, arms around two women, laughing like a creep.
Grayson barged in with a team of bodyguards and fired a shot straight into the ceiling.
The bang sent the place into chaos.
Brandon, staring down the barrel of a gun, pissed himself on the spot.
He raised his trembling hands. “Grayson, man–what are you doing?! Don’t do anything crazy!”
“If my dad finds out you kill me here, he’ll destroy you!”
“Kill you?”
Grayson let out a cold laugh.
“That’d be letting you off too easy.”
He had Brandon bound and dragged into the Whitaker family’s basement.
The pitch–dark room had Brandon shaking like a leaf, all the arrogance gone from his face.
“M–Mr. Whitaker… Let’s talk. Please. Just calm down-”
Grayson wiped the blade of his knife slowly, his stare ice–cold.
“Didn’t you once swear to me… that you’d never lay a finger on Savannah again?”
He tossed a tablet in front of him.
“Then explain this.”
On screen, Brandon was all over Savannah, grinning like a pervert.
Then later, he trashed her reputation in front of all of Crestmoor Heights‘ elite.
Brandon panicked. “Mr. Whitaker, don’t be mad! I did it all for you!”
Grayson’s brow twitched. “For me?”

“Yeah!” Brandon scrambled to spin his lie.
“You’ve got a new girl now, right? But that Savannah just wouldn’t quit chasing you around.”
“I was helping you get rid of her! I was trying to give you a clean break so you could enjoy life with your hot little secretary!”
A knife flew through the air and buried itself into the wooden post behind Brandon’s head.
Grayson’s eyes were bloodshot, veins popping–like a demon rising from the dark.
“When did I ever say she was chasing me?”
Brandon started screaming.
“Weren’t you sick of her?! You humiliated her at that party yourself!”
Suddenly, he squared his shoulders.
“So what if I did? I only trashed her name–but you chose to believe it!”
“You could’ve checked the footage. Why didn’t you?!”
Grayson’s body, tight with fury, suddenly slumped like all the energy had drained from him.
He curled forward on the bench, folding in on himself.
Yeah… He’d believed it.
If only he’d trusted her–stood up for her, cleared her name…
Maybe Savannah wouldn’t have left.
Maybe things wouldn’t have ended like this.
Brandon thought he’d won. Still tied to the post, he let out a relieved sigh.
But the next second, Grayson stood back up–slow, staggering.
He looked him dead in the eye, then rammed the knife through the back of Brandon’s hand.
Brandon’s scream pierced the room. “Why?! What the hell are you doing?!”
Grayson’s voice was hoarse but steady.
“I messed up. I deserve hell. But I’ll drag myself there–to beg for her forgiveness in person.”
“And as for you? You hurt her too. I’ll settle her score.”
He twisted the blade, shredding tendon and flesh. Brandon’s hand was ruined.
He bowled in agony, face contorted in pain.
“You’re insane, Grayson! You’re a fucking lunatic!”
But Grayson didn’t hear him.
He was whispering to himself now.
“That hand it grabbed her waist. Oh, and the other? That one reached under her skirt.”
Seems like neither of your hands deserve to stay.”
Another blood–curdling scream. Grayson brought the blade down. The other hand was severed clean at the wrist.
Blood gushed like a fountain.

Brandon nearly passed out from blood loss.
But Grayson didn’t send him for medical treatment.
He just had someone stanch the bleeding–left the severed hands dangling there as the wounds crusted over.
Brandon snapped, screaming every obscenity he could think of.
“You son of a bitch! You do this to me but not to your damn secretary?!”
“She’s just as dirty! You’re not in love with Savannah–you’re just like me!”
Grayson turned on a dime and knocked his front teeth out with a single punch.
“Shut up. You’ll have company soon. I’m sending her to keep you company.”
