Mark and Susan s Taces changed. Mark
shouted.
“Arrest this man! He kidnapped us!”
Susan joined in. “He kidnapped us! I’m related to your chief! Let us go!”
My anger burned. They only cared about
themselves.
Had I lost again?
The police handcuffed them.
Mark screamed. “You got the wrong people! We’re the victims!”
An officer said sternly, “You’re charged with assault, obstruction of justice, tax evasion, and more. You’re under arrest.
Susan spat at me. “You think you’re getting away with this? When I get out, I’ll kill your daughter. Divorce? In your next life!”
I smiled. showing them my phone.

I smiled, showing them my phone.
“Fifty thousand people already know. What
are you going to do?”
“Want me to read the comments?”
Mark saw the livestream. His face went pale,
blood draining from it.
He whispered, “You were streaming? No, no… how dare you!” Susan fainted.

In the interrogation room, I calmly confessed
everything.
From protecting Lily ten years ago to discovering Mark’s abuse.
I couldn’t control my anger as I described our desperate attempts for help, being rejected
by the police and courts, and the hospital’s threats.

“Who doesn’t want a peaceful life? But they
pushed me too far! My daughter would have
been killed!”
Tears streamed down my face. I was filled
with guilt and helplessness.
