The Paralyzed Ch 1

The Paralyzed Ch 1

I was born with sacred moonblood flowing through my veins, blood that could heal any werewolf ailment.
In my past life, after healing the paralyzed legs of Alpha Alexander Blackthorne, I discovered the Blackthorne Pack had declared that whoever healed their Alpha would become their Luna.
Alexander was forced to mark me as his mate. His beloved first-love Stella heard the news, lost her footing while climbing the treacherous cliffs to gather moonflower petals for his healing, and fell to her death.
A year later, Alexander found Stella’s frozen corpse.
He forced me to slash my wrists and bleed out to bring her back to life.
“If Stella had returned with the moonflowers to heal me, we would have been mates forever. You killed her!”
“Aurelia, you claim your blood is sacred medicine? Then bring Stella back to life!”
I begged him through my tears.
“Stella has been dead for a year. I can only heal the living, not resurrect the dead.”
But Alexander wouldn’t listen to my explanation. He watched me bleed to death with cold eyes.
When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day the Blackthorne Pack asked me to heal their Alpha.
Looking at Alexander sitting in his wheelchair with his dark, brooding expression, I smiled coldly.
“Alpha Blackthorne, your legs are beyond salvation. No one can heal them.”
Chapter 1

Hearing my words, Alexander slowly raised his head to look at me, anger brewing in his steel-gray eyes.

“Useless healer, get out of my sight!”

I raised an eyebrow slightly, turning to look at his mother Former Luna Margaret beside me.

“Luna Margaret, when the Moonrise Healer Pack says a condition cannot be cured, it truly cannot be healed. You should consider producing another heir while you’re still young—”

Before I could even finish, Alexander’s coffee mug flew straight at my head.

I dodged to the side.

The expensive porcelain shattered against the wall with a sharp crack.

Margaret quickly apologized to me.

“Miss Aurelia, I’m so sorry. I apologize for Alexander’s behavior. He’s just frustrated because of his condition…”

I waved dismissively.

“I understand. A paralyzed, powerless Alpha tends to have a twisted mindset.”

Seeing Alexander’s body trembling with rage, I hurriedly turned and walked out of the Blackthorne pack house.

Margaret chased after me, pleading in a low voice.

“Miss Aurelia, is there truly no way? I’ve heard the Moonrise Pack possesses ancient healing magic. If you can heal Alexander’s legs, the Blackthorne Pack will grant any request you have.”

Huh, it wasn’t that he couldn’t be healed—I simply wouldn’t heal him.

In my past life, Alexander blamed Stella’s death on me, stubbornly believing that if Stella had brought back the moonflowers, she could have healed his legs.

If he had thought rationally, he would have known moonflowers were merely supplements.

Their supposed miraculous properties were nothing but inflated claims.

But after discovering I had used my sacred blood to heal his legs, he watched me bleed to death just to try reviving Stella.

Before I died, I overheard the pack servants talking.

It turned out that Stella hadn’t fallen while picking moonflowers at all. After learning she couldn’t become Luna Blackthorne, she had sought out another powerful alpha, only to be discovered by his mate and thrown off the cliff.

In this life, I wouldn’t get involved in their twisted relationship again. Let them have their fucking happily ever after.

“I cannot help with Alpha Blackthorne’s condition.”

Alexander wheeled out after me, his deep voice suppressing his anger.

“Mother, Stella has already flown to the Moonpeak Mountains. When she returns with the sacred moonflowers, my legs will definitely be healed.”

“Needless to beg others.”

Margaret sighed deeply.

“Moonflowers can only aid in recovery, but to make you walk again requires much more. The Moonrise Pack is your last hope…”

Alexander remained stubbornly fixed in his beliefs.

“I told you, Stella can heal me.”

I gave Alexander one last meaningful look before bidding Margaret farewell.

Just as I stepped outside the Blackthorne pack gates, a black SUV stopped in front of me. A woman got out and knelt before me.

“Miss Moonrise, please save my son…”
