The Paralyzed Ch 2

The Paralyzed Ch 2

Chapter 2

It turned out that a year ago, the accident hadn’t only injured Alexander—it had also harmed his rival, Alpha Ethan Silvermoon.

After that car crash, Ethan had become a comatose patient barely clinging to life.

But having experienced the painful past life, I wouldn’t casually use my sacred blood to save anyone anymore. So I refused former Luna Silvermoon’s request.

Luna Silvermoon didn’t press further and left in tears.

A week later, I received an invitation to a Blackthorne Pack celebration.

Stella had returned with the moonflowers. Margaret was worried about the effectiveness of Stella’s medicine and asked me to attend and verify it.

At the celebration, Stella stayed glued to Alexander’s side.

Margaret took my hand, her face full of worry.

“I’m not afraid that Stella’s medicine won’t work. I’m just worried that if Alexander gets disappointed again, he won’t be able to handle the blow.”

“This past year, we’ve tried everything. I’ve watched the hope in Alexander’s eyes fade bit by bit. As his mother, I truly don’t know what else to do…”

Before I could offer comfort, Stella wheeled Alexander over to us.

“Luna Margaret, don’t worry. I will definitely make Alexander walk again. I nearly died on those mountains getting this moonflower.”

Alexander grasped Stella’s hand, deeply moved.

“Stella, once I can walk again, I’ll give you the most magnificent mating ceremony.”

“Alexander, I believe in you.”

Stella turned to look at me, her smile cryptic.

“I’m different from those charlatan healers. I’m certain I can heal Alexander’s legs.”

As soon as she finished speaking, the faces of several renowned healers who had previously treated Alexander’s legs darkened.

“Miss Stella, you have quite the audacity. Are you certain you can heal the Alpha’s legs?”

“You’re not even from a medical background, yet you dare question our expertise?”

“Even Aurelia from the legendary Moonrise Healing Pack said the Alpha’s legs couldn’t be healed. I don’t believe a young girl like you has such abilities!”

Though Alexander felt Stella had spoken impulsively, he still defended her.

“I believe Stella can definitely heal me!”

For a second, I couldn’t help but laugh.

Stella thought I was mocking her.

She gritted her teeth in anger but forced a smile.

“Aurelia, I heard you’re the most outstanding healer of your generation, but you refused both the Blackthorne and Silvermoon packs. It’s hard not to suspect that you actually don’t know how to heal at all.”

I smiled slightly.

“Then I very much look forward to the day Miss Stella makes Alpha Blackthorne walk again.”

Seeing that I wasn’t angry but instead smiling, Stella bit her lip.

“Are you upset that I stole your spotlight? I know Luna Margaret likes you and intended for you to mate with Alexander, but now I’m the only one who can heal Alexander’s legs.”

Alexander, sitting in his wheelchair, spoke mockingly.

“Aurelia, even if you had the ability to heal me, I would never agree to mate with you. Besides, you’re just a useless healer. When my mother introduced you earlier, I thought you were someone impressive, but it seems you’re just ordinary.”

“I’m telling you, my beloved is only Stella. I will mate with no one but her in this life.”

“Even if you keep appearing before me, I won’t spare you a second glance.”

Watching their performance, I felt only irritation.

“Luna Margaret invited me just to verify Miss Stella’s medicine. But since Alpha Blackthorne trusts Miss Stella so much, there’s no need for me to meddle.”

I turned to leave, but Stella stepped in front of me.

“Aurelia, what do you mean by that?”

I frowned.

“Exactly what I said. If you don’t understand, check your dictionary!”

Stella snorted coldly.

“Aurelia, do you dare make a bet with me? Let’s see who can heal Alexander’s legs. The loser kneels in defeat and is banished from the territory forever!”

I stopped and turned back to her.

“I’ll take your bet. But I won’t heal Alpha Alexander—I’ll heal Alpha Ethan!”
