Chapter 4
Alexander instinctively used his coat to cover his legs.
“Aurelia, what nonsense are you spouting? After Stella treated me, my legs are much better than before.”
Panic flashed in Stella’s eyes as she stepped in front of Alexander.
“Aurelia, you don’t understand anything, so stop talking nonsense. This is a natural reaction to the medicine. In a few days, Alexander will be able to walk again.”
“You’re in enough trouble yourself–you’d better focus on figuring out how to wake Alpha Ethan.”
I smiled and said nothing.
That day, after giving Ethan the blood medicine, Luna Margaret sent me a video of Stella preparing her concoction.
Besides ordinary herbs, Stella had added several drops of an unknown liquid from an unmarked bottle.
Suddenly, there was movement from the hospital bed.
I quickly got up and walked over.
“Ethan, are you awake?”
“Aurelia?”
Ethan blinked and called my name as he looked
I was surprised.
“You recognize me?”

my
face.
Before he could answer, Luna Silvermoon rushed in and embraced him.
I left the space for the mother and son.
Just as I stepped out of the room, Luna Margaret sent me another video. Alexander’s leg atrophy had worsened significantly.
This had to be related to the liquid Stella had added to her medicine.
Thinking back to my past life, when Alexander had confidently claimed that Stella’s moonflowers would definitely heal him.
I wondered if Alexander in this life would still treasure Stella and want to spend eternity with her after she destroyed his legs.
At the same time.
Ethan had been persistently doing rehabilitation training these past few days and could already walk on the ground.
Soon it was the tenth day of my bet with Stella.
Almost all the powerful pack members came to the Blackthorne pack to watch the spectacle. The entire territory had participated in this wager.
When Ethan and I walked into the great hall, the guests stared in amazement.
“Is that really Alpha Ethan? Am I seeing things? He actually woke up?”
“Oh no.
I bet five million on Stella winning back then!”
“The Moonrise pack truly deserves their reputation as divine healers. They can even cure someone every hospital said was hopeless!”
The surrounding discussions made Stella’s face turn pale.
She looked at me in disbelief.
“How could… you actually woke Alpha Ethan up?!”
I sneered.
“You lost. Time to honor the bet.”
Everyone looked at her expectantly.
“Miss Stella, a bet is a bet. You should kneel and admit defeat to Miss Aurelia.”
“Hurry up and kneel, then leave the territory immediately!”
Stella looked anxiously toward the second floor, her eyes full of panic and urgency.
“I…”
Just as she was forced to kneel before me, Alexander’s voice suddenly rang out from the second floor.
“Who says we lost?”
Everyone looked up at the sound.
Alexander stood straight at the top of the staircase.

“My God, Alexander’s legs are healed too?”

“Looks like this Stella really has some skills. Even Miss Aurelia said it couldn’t be healed, but she succeeded.”
“Both are healed–who wins now?”
Stella raised her chin at me.
“Did you see that? Alexander is standing!”
Alexander looked down at me from above.
“Aurelia, you said no one could heal me, but here I am standing right in front of you. Won’t you admit you’re a useless healer?”
I shook my head.
“Alexander, your legs might have been treatable before, but now they’re truly beyond salvation.”
Hearing that, his expression changed instantly, his teeth clenched.
“Aurelia, let’s see how long you can keep up this stubborn act!”
With that, he lifted his foot to walk down the stairs.
I silently counted in my mind.
“One, two, three…”
“Ten.”
CRASH!
He collapsed and tumbled down the staircase.
The person closest to him screamed in terror.
“Ahhh–what happened to Alexander’s legs!!”
