Rachel Blackwell chimed in, “Yeah, or just get the counselor to move her out. I heard Mrs. Grant is a major shareholder of the school and donates money to Rowenfort University every year, so what’s the big deal about a bed swap?”
What Rachel said is true, because my mom graduated from Rowenfort University and she donates annually out of nostalgia.
But even if you’re my mom’s illegitimate daughter, you can’t do whatever you want, right? My mom donates, not bribes, okay?
Olivia Grant pursed her lips, softly saying, “Actually, my mom bought me a villa near the university, but she said I should keep a low profile while away from home, and I want to live with you guys.”
I secretly nodded, an illegitimate daughter should indeed be a bit more low-key.
“See, rich people’s manners are different, unlike some people.”
Lily gave me a sidelong glance knowingly, and Olivia Grant followed suit by looking smugly at me.
I rolled my eyes and hurried to the bathroom to call my mom and ask what was going on.
I asked her if she had an illegitimate daughter, my mom scolded me and docked half of my pocket money.
I pouted, fine, take it then, I never spend it all anyway.

After military training, there was a welcome party, and Olivia Grant did a dance that was unidentifiable.
During free time, she made a splash with her status as a Calorus Group heiress, and many guys came up to invite her to dance.
I couldn’t be bothered with her, busy scanning the crowd for my online boyfriend.
I’ve been in an online relationship with a guy since high school. He has seen my face but never shows me his, always asking for money.
But he doesn’t know, I already know who he is.
His name is Ethan Reeves, and he was quite the heartthrob in high school.
When I spotted Ethan Reeves in the crowd, I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed.
He didn’t look as clean and handsome as in high school, his physique seemed out of shape too.
But I’m not part of the looks club, even if he wasn’t as handsome as before, he was still pretty good to me.
Plus, he swore to love only me forever.
To surprise him, I pretended to run into him by chance.
I approached him and asked if his ID was ‘Across the Years’?
Ethan Reeves looked at me, pausing for a moment before saying strangely, “No, that’s my roommate.”
I paused, not much change in my appearance, right? We video chatted all summer, how could he not recognize me?
“Sorry, I have something to do.” Before I could respond, he hurriedly walked away.
I saw him go over to Olivia Grant, and gallantly inviting her to dance, that’s when I understood.
Was I dumped? Did he take a fancy to Olivia’s status as a Calorus heiress?
Noticing my gaze, Olivia Grant smugly raised her eyebrows at me, then took Ethan’s hand.
I spat in irritation, a liar and a spineless guy, truly a match made in heaven!
After the party, Ethan Reeves and Olivia Grant disappeared.
When I returned to the dorm, Olivia Grant and the other two roommates were also there.
When she saw me, Lily Carter deliberately raised her voice and asked, “Olivia, did you receive a lot of confessions today? Is there anyone you fancy?”
Olivia Grant smiled shyly, but her words were anything but subtle.
“I could date any of them, that Senior Reeves seems nice, he helped me carry my luggage at the start of school and asked me to have dinner at a famous restaurant tomorrow.”
The dormitory was awkwardly silent for a moment before Lily Carter started making a fuss and shouted, “Senior Reeves is a top student in his third year, and also the student council president. Some people shamelessly hit on him without considering their status.”
As she spoke, she glanced at me on purpose.
I was a bit displeased, and inwardly cursed Ethan Reeves about his two-faced nature.
Originally, he said he would come pick me up on the first day but I waited for him at the station for half an hour without seeing him.
When the last campus bus arrived, I had to leave on it, receiving just a brief message from him at the entrance.
It was merely a short: “Too busy, can’t come, see you some other day.”
So, was he busy picking up Olivia Grant that day?
03
Letting a jerk like him off so easily is too lenient, at least I should get back the money he borrowed from me.
Having heard the restaurant location Olivia mentioned, I followed them the next day.
Upon entering, the restaurant was bustling with lively energy.
Among the crowd, I saw Ethan Reeves holding a bouquet of champagne roses in one hand and a necklace box in the other, gazing lovingly at Olivia Grant who sat at the table.
“The flower language of champagne roses is ‘falling in love with you is my greatest happiness in this life,’ just like my feelings for you, Olivia…”
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
Listening to these all-too-familiar words, I could only feel a bit nauseous.
The confessions were exactly the same, with different flowers, and perhaps the value of the flowers represented Ethan’s varying appraisal of us.
People around were creating a fuss, and Olivia Grant’s face mixed with surprise and touched emotions as she opened her mouth to accept the confession.
“Wait a moment!”
I pushed through the crowd to stand in front of them.
Seeing me, both Ethan Reeves and Olivia Grant looked surprised, but Ethan had a hint of nervousness in his expression.
I looked at him coolly and deliberately said, “Ethan, since you are hooking up with the daughter of a corporate mogul, why don’t you repay the ten thousand you owe me first?”
Ethan feigned composure yet avoided looking at me, speaking in a distant and disdainful tone, “This student, take a good look at yourself, how could I possibly know someone like you?”
I didn’t say much to him but made a call, and soon his phone rang.
Ethan turned pale, and I hung up, raising my eyebrows as I looked at him, “Still want to deny it?”
Ethan bowed his head, his face alternating between pale and flushed.
Olivia Grant realized something, glared at me, and immediately walked away.
Seeing that, Ethan tried to chase after her, but I grabbed him, “Otherwise, admit you’re not a man, and I’ll treat the small sum of money as feeding a dog.”
He clenched his fist, shot me a gloomy look, and finally, unwillingly opened his mouth, “I don’t have that much money now, can I pay you back in installments?”
“Fine, I’ll give you half a month, fail to pay up, and I’ll report you, forget about continuing your studies.”

When I returned to the dormitory, I overheard Olivia Grant and Lily Carter talking.
Not sure what Olivia mentioned that made Rachel Blackwell indignant, “I didn’t expect Senior Reeves to be this kind of person, messing with other women outside while pursuing our Olivia, isn’t that disgusting?”
Olivia Grant sighed, “Ethan told me he doesn’t like Olivia Brooks at all, nor did he borrow money from her. He only talked to her out of courtesy, it was Olivia Brooks who misunderstood.”
“Huh? I said, how could Senior Reeves like that kind of pauper, she’s wearing clothes without a brand name.”
“Forget it, anyway, my boyfriend isn’t inferior to Ethan, Olivia Brooks can have him if she wants, but whether Ethan wants her is not up to me.”
Rachel Blackwell sighed, “Olivia, you’re too generous, why do you even bother thinking about her?”
I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I pushed the door open and walked in, smiling at Olivia Grant, “Yeah, don’t stick your nose into my business, you like to distribute waste, but I have no interest in collecting it, after all, trash should stay in the trash can.”
“What do you mean?” Olivia Grant asked, her face flushed with anger.
Rachel Blackwell patted her and comforted her, “Don’t stoop to a pauper’s level, she’s just jealous of you.”
I couldn’t help but laugh and asked, “What am I jealous of? Jealous of her using fake goods? Or jealous of her recycling garbage?”
“What nonsense are you spouting? Are you crazy, what fake goods?” Rachel Blackwell looked confused.
I glanced at their skincare products on the table and reminded them out of goodwill, “Whether I’m talking nonsense or not, you’ll know when your faces rot and you’re in the hospital.”
“Are you cursing me?!” Rachel Blackwell responded emotionally.
Olivia Grant pulled her, “Forget it, don’t argue with her. She probably has never seen genuine ones.”
“Right, sour grapes for what you can’t have.”
Enraged as she was, Rachel Blackwell still had some reservations and didn’t use Olivia Grant’s skincare products that night.
When Olivia Grant asked, she just said she had already used them.
Two days later in the morning, Lily Carter’s scream echoed from the restroom.
Everyone was woken up, and as I pulled back the curtains and sleepily glanced over, I almost fell out of bed in shock.
I saw that Lily Carter’s face was covered with dense acne, and her neck had a rash-like patch.
“Help, am I disfiguring? It’s so itchy…”
She kept scratching, and in no time, her entire face became horribly disfigured.
“Get to the hospital quickly,” a roommate suggested.
“I will go with you, Olivia, why don’t you come with me?” Lily Carter cautiously glanced at Olivia Grant’s bed.
Only she hadn’t pulled back the curtains, appearing to still be asleep.
Usually, when I rolled over, she’d complain about not being able to sleep, how could she sleep so soundly today?
Finally, it was Rachel Blackwell who accompanied Lily Carter to see the doctor.
When they returned, I had just finished using the toilet and was about to head out.
Then I heard Lily Carter say morosely, “Why did you stop me earlier? That quack of a doctor said I used inferior skincare products, but they were all from Olivia, how could they be inferior?”
Rachel Blackwell hesitated in silence for a moment before replying, “Perhaps she didn’t know they were fake, anyway, just don’t use them for now, and don’t tell Olivia about it, she might overthink.”
I couldn’t help but roll my eyes, these two lapdogs were practically obsessed fans of Olivia Grant.
What I didn’t expect was for Olivia Grant to take the initiative to find the two of them and say she’d been duped with counterfeit goods.
Lily Carter finally saw some improvement in her skin after following Rachel Blackwell’s advice to stop using Olivia Grant’s products.

A few days later, during class, the advisor suddenly announced some major news.
