2 Chapter 2
“Everyone knows that Ms. Grant from the Calorus Group graduated from our school. She donated quite a few academic buildings, and recently she donated a dormitory building again, this time in her daughter’s name. Everyone should know her daughter is in our class…”
As soon as these words were spoken, everyone turned their eyes to Olivia Grant.
Olivia Grant was looking down, swiping through her phone, as if she hadn’t noticed the
attention around her.
Lily Carter excitedly nudged her and asked, “Olivia, did you say something to your mom? Can we move to the new dormitory then? We can leave Olivia Brooks behind and drive her crazy!”
Olivia Grant didn’t lift her head to respond, just smiled briefly.
Even without looking, it was clear how forced her smile was. If my mom actually came that day, she’d probably reveal her true face.
The counselor continued, “The school’s idea is for our class to host a talent show, and to invite
Ms. Grant to watch. What do you all think?”
Everyone agreed unanimously and began urgently planning the show.
After the class meeting ended, almost the entire class went to express their thanks to Olivia
Grant.
The talent show was finally set to be held at the school’s auditorium, with the whole class participating, and Olivia Grant giving a dance performance as the grand finale.
Ethan Reeves even sought me out once during this period.
That day, I was eating in the cafeteria when he suddenly sat across from me and said, “Olivia Brooks, let’s talk
I glanced up at him, “Transfer the money quickly if you’ve gathered it, trash files take up
storage.”
“Olivia Brooks, don’t go too far!” Ethan Reeves was upset but still didn’t leave.
“I’m here to urge you to change dorm rooms. Olivia doesn’t want to live with you. She said if you left, she’d give me another chance. Then I’d have the money to repay you. So, could you find
another dorm?”
I put down my chopsticks, simply looked at him without speaking.
The moment our eyes met, his tone softened, speaking earnestly, “I’m doing it for your own good, you know. Leaving on your own is better than being driven away. You know her status. Can you really confront her?”

2 Chapter 2
“If she wanted, you’d probably not even be able to stay at this school…” Ethan Reeves didn’t finish before his face was splattered with soup.
I stood up with the empty bowl, unapologetically said, “Sorry, you disgust me too much, couldn’t hold it in.”
After that, ignoring Ethan Reeves‘ shouting, I left the cafeteria.
After this incident, almost the entire school knew that Olivia Grant and I didn’t get along.
Even the counselor came to persuade me to move dorms voluntarily.
I directly refused, “Why should I move? Whoever has a problem can move themselves!”
The counselor angrily slammed the table, speaking disdainfully, “Her mom donated a dormitory building, what has your mom done? Your mom only knows how to raise pigs so she raised you like a pig. I advise you to be sensible and move out yourself, otherwise you’ll have no chance of staying at this school!”
Well now? Are college counselors so arrogant these days?
Looking at her high and mighty manner, I squinted my eyes. This school’s atmosphere really needs a bit of reform.
